There are still a few loose ends up in the air. Will let you know more as we get close to rolling out the updates.

As for general questions posed:

Yes, a high salary can get you some fame. Not a high bonus, but a good salary. Only applies once a season. Applies to renegotiations with your current team.

Signing as a FA in a league that's way below your level can actually hurt your fame rating, since people don't want to watch you play scrubs all year.

Reaching certain stats milestones, winning trophies, etc. helps fame.

A high fame rating raises your minimum salary requirement. High fame also gives you access to endorsements to make cash and access to some of the best stuff for improving your player's performance.

Training will most likely end up costing people a little more on average, but not because the price is going up. Intense will actually cost less, but you will want to do it more often if you can.

Just the basics.

Will fame be retroactive to include past accomplishments?

Bort, THANKS for the info! This really helps agents and owners plan for the upcoming offseason. Just to be sure that I am clear, the fame will be based on my current salary not just on salaries of newly minted contracts. If I get a 150k salary now, or if I get a 150k salary in the offseason, would my fame would be the same? Since this isn't the first good question you've answered for me (I think I was the first to ask about DEs playing at LB). Any chance of getting whitelisted for PMs?

That was the idea. I will need to write a script to figure out "starting" fame values for existing players, based on trophies won, plateaus reached, and current salary. They will probably be a little low due to not knowing the entire contract history of every player, but everybody will start on the same page at least, and those smaller contracts of < lv 20 & below won't really count for all that much anyway.

That's also the idea, along with a few other things that will show up throughout the season. There's a bunch of pieces I still have to hammer out, but the basics should be ready go at least.

Sounds awesome Bort. Getting to do more with your player = win.

How much information on fame generation are you going to give us? Will it hurt to be on a poor team (For example: Corey Dillon on the Bengals), stuff like that.

Um...no offense...

But isn't the whole fame thing just going to make leagues and whatnot even more unbalanced? The good teams will benefit and get bonuses, everyone else won't get bonuses.

Will great performance, such as leading your league in pancakes, passing rating, sacks, etc raise your fame?

Fame rating means good players who get higher fame will have to be paid more. The teams don't benefit at all really. The endorsements will be paid to the players

Well, teams that make it to the playoffs will have more money, more money = higher salary, higher salary = more fame, more fame = "access to some of the best stuff for improving your player's performance."
