I know I have not done this in a while, but it is now time to do it for the last game of the regular season. So without further ado:
Port Moody Megalodon vs Antioch Inferno - Port Moody has locked up the number 1 seed in the West. They are 15-1 and all of their victories have been 10+. The Inferno is sitting #3 seed and cannot improve. But a loss today with a Quasars win will drop them to #4 seed. So the Inferno need to turn up the heat on Port Moody because they need it more than them. This is the game that will go in overtime and even though Inferno needs it more, Port Moody gets it by winning 27 - 24.
Listowel Huskies vs Lincoln Lucky - Huskies are sitting #2 in the playoff picture but they can drop to #4 with a loss or maybe even lower. If they win, they will secure #2 seed but cannot get to #1 no matter what. The Lucky are one of the 4 teams fighting for the last 3 playoff spots. If they win, they are in the playoffs but only as an away team. If they lose, they can still get into the playoffs but it depends on other games. The Lucky have won 5 in a row and are either very hot or very lucky. What it is I do not know but neither do the Huskies as Lucky wins a very close game 30 - 28.
Niagara Assassins vs Gaffney Indians - The Assassins are 1 of the 4 teams battling for the 3 playoff spots. Unlike the Lucky, if the Assassins lose - they are out of the playoffs. They have won 3 straight to put them in this position but the level of competition during those 3 games have not been against high power teams. The Indians are sitting #4 and really want a home playoff game. If they win, they get it. If they lose, they could lose it. They are in the playoffs no matter what happens but playing at home is always the key. The Assassins need this one more but any team that can play 3 quarters with Port Moody is not going to let anyone walk over them. The Indians win this one going away 40 - 24.
Toronto Bobcats vs Tradewest Battletoads - The Bobcats won last week over the Rented Mules but the playoff picture was destroyed before that. The Battletoads lost a tough one to the Bruins which took them down to the 5th seed in the West. Before that they had won 8 in a row. They are in the playoffs no matter what but the only way to get a home game is to win this one and hope for some losses from teams currently sitting higher seeds. The Battletoads do their part as the win this one easily 44 - 10.
Canadian Military vs Ogopogo Lake Monsters - The Military was mathmatically eliminated from the playoffs on opening day of the season. Not really but it must of felt like that to them. The Monsters are playoff bound but as it sits right now, they would be playing on the road. For them to get a home playoff game, they have to win and have help from teams playing the teams above them. They cannot be distracted by the other games because they have to pay attention to what they control, the Military. The Monsters beat up the Military like Godzilla did to Japaneze Military in all those movies. Monsters win 65 - 0.
Hamilton Lightning - Québec City Dirtbags - The Lightning are currently the 6th seed but they have lost their last 2 games to put then in a position not to make the playoffs. They too are 1 of 4 teams trying for the last 3 playoff spots. If they win, they will be in for sure. If they lose, they could still go but they could also stay home. The Dirtbags are seed 7 in the West. Win or lose, they will be in the playoffs due to head to head with the Bruins and Wolf Pack. Win and they secure the #7 seed. But if they lose and the Bruins win, they drop down to the #8 seed. The prize for the #8 seed is Port Moody in the first round of the playoffs. Dirtbags wants to avoid that if at all possible. It is not only possible but they do it with a 30 - 20 win.
Westwood Bruins vs Lancaster Hustlas - The Bruins are sitting on the edge of the playoffs. They are on the good side of the edge with holding the #8 seed in the West. If they win, they will be in for sure either as a #8 if the Dirtbags win and #7 if the Dirtbags lose. If the Bruins lose, then they are in if the Wolf Pack lose and out if the Wolf Pack wins. The Hustlas are in the playoffs no matter what happens. They are currently sitting in the 5th spot in the East. They cannot get any higher seed if they win but they can drop down if they lose. Put the Hustlas down as the 5th seed then because they win this one 30 - 20.
Saskatchewan Wolf Pack vs Blitzkrieg Bandits - The Wolf Pack have come a long way since the start of the season. They started off 0-4 and looked to be quickly eliminated from the playoff picture. But they are now 7-8 and are just one spot our of the playoffs. Their only chance is to beat the Bandits and hope the Bruins lose to sneak in at 8th seed and they right to play Port Moody. The Bandits are just the opposit of the Wolf Pack. The Bruins started good and even when they loss, it was close games to good teams. Now they have loss 8 of their last 9 games and the only plans they have for the playoffs is where they plan on watching the games at. All the good teams are beating them badly and the Wolf Pack will be no different. Wolf Pack wins this one 40 - 7.
Memphis Maulers vs Sacramento Terror - The Maulers can beat the teams they are suppose to beat but they have only won 1 game against a playoff contender all season when they beat the Bruins. The Terror have lost every game this year. The last two games have been against two playoff contenders and they scored points in each of those games. The previous 13 games they have never even scored a single point. So the Terrors are starting to flex a little. Nice show boys but this is still a mans game. The Maulers win another one that they should by beating the Terror 47 - 7.
Puvirnituq Musketeers vs Grise Fjord ^^^Kodiaks^^^ - What a difference owners can make. At the start of the season, this looked like a great game between Puvi and Crush. Now we have Puvi which is the last undefeated team in the league playing a team that gave up the ghost weeks ago. Puvi looks to end the regular season undefeated and has the #1 seed in the East tucked away in their back pocket. The ^^^ have lost their last 6 games and are in a downward spiral that reminds me of a flushing toilet. Even though their is no playoff this year for the ^^^, if they pull off this win, they will be talked about for all of next season. OK, keep dreaming Kodiaks because it will not happen and Puvi crushes the X-Crush 50 - 13.
Thunder Bay Titans vs Yellowknife Rented Mules - The Titans would be in the playoff picture except for all those losses. Losing 5 out of the last 6 took them out of the picture for this year. The Rented Mules have lost 10 in a row and have not been in the playoff picture since the photographer said "Cheese". Both teams want to win this one and end the season on a good note. There can only be one winner though. The Titans pull off the win with a 27 - 17 victory.
Halifax Fighting Irish vs B.K. Thunderbirds - The Irish are sitting on the last playoff spot in the East but can be knocked off of it with a loss to the Thunderbrids. A win could move them all the way up to 5th and nor having to play Puvi in the first round. The Thunderbirds are in need of a major tuneup if they want to win in this league. That and winning more than 1 game in a row would go a long way. This is a game that Irish really should win and they do by beating up on the Thunderbirds 42 - 7.

The Quasars are a very good football team. They get a home playoff game if they win or lose this game. Currently they are sitting in 4th but could get up to 3rd with a win and a Inferno loss. Since not so good football teams beat the Limas, the Quasars will have no problem beating them 48 - 3.
Bologna Towers vs Winnipeg Wolves - Talk about your David an Goliath. The Towers only victory of the whole season was against the winless Jerks. The Wolves have secured the #2 seed in the East and are a very tough team. But I seen where Utah beat Michigan or Bowling Green beat Pittsburgh in college football so anything can happen. Yeah right, this is GLB and this upset will not happen as the Wolves rip apart the Towers 65 - 10.
Arctic Cricle Jerks vs Nova Scotia Snakes - There are two things that the Jerks do not do well. Spelling (Cricle??) and football (0-15??). The only good news is they have scored some points in the last 6 games. The Snakes are eliminated from the playoffs but have been looking forward to playing spoiler against playoff teams. But since the last 2 games have been wins again Bobcats and Military, no spoiling to be done here. None for this game either as the Snakes win it 38 - 10.
