Good games to all we played. For those that don't know, I have a ban on my players on posting until after the championship game. That ban has been now lifted for the rest of the season and seasons here after. I have work to go to I'll post more later.

I had a long post all saved and ready to go, but I've decided to keep it simple.

Thank you to those that had some faith in us (Pirates, Tire Fires),
Good season to those teams that fought hard (Tweety's etc..)

Overall though, this was a disappointing season.. not because of competition, but because of the community and that DE accusation crap that went on, and how we were seen as mostly just a team that got *lucky* in the for the season 4 predictions. Milk will probably help those words go down easier as you eat them.

I see where you're coming from. Allow me to substantiate the "lucky" claims. We beat you 41-0 in the regular season, then you beat us in the playoffs 19-13 scoring both your touchdowns on fluke plays: a fumbled punt returned for a TD and a long pass play deflected by our safety straight to your WR's hands. Hey, thats the way the ball bounced that game. Grats to you. But to sound disappointed as a way of mocking the "haters" is pretty lame, especially only noting the tweety's as teams that fought you hard. Your DE's were always good... no one can take that away. But the amount of sacks in the playoffs was godly and I don't think we saw it coming, especially considering how we gameplanned specifically to stop them.

Again, not saying you didn't earn it, grats on the championship. Now show some sportsmanship.

Actually, that comment about being *lucky* wasn't directed towards that game, more towards the pre-season predictions made by TBRaiders and how he figured we would barely make the playoffs as we would face *real* teams here (to me that makes it sound like we only got here because the other teams simply sucked more than us).

The only reason why I gave a shout out to the tweety's especially (and notice I did put an etc.. on the end there, cause there were other teams), was because they also were off the radar, and no one bothered to give them a congrats after their win over another very good team *Hot Mama's*.

The DE stuff was just an insult to those that built the characters and handled the Defense. It would be going up to a Gold Medalists in the Olympics, and telling them that you suspect that there were changes made to the equipment, because they did not move like that during practice or something. That itself is poor sportsmanship. The Pirates even before the Season started brought up our Defensive line, and during the normal season game, we were just testing. I can see how you would be surprised by it, but that was the plan. We have been watching all the main teams (and sometimes the off teams, even before the season started.

Your team was very good, I never denied that. However, you were always a favorite and in the spotlight (for good reason), so I just didn't feel the need to mention your name specifically.

As for that game, I'll let our GM reply to that, cause there could be a lot of arguments there.

All I know is that NACJAC was on my radar since last season. When we won 41-0 I was amazed, I expected a much closer outcome. I knew that the playoff meeting was going to be a lot tougher and we game planned accordingly and somehow gave up 7 sacks!

During the entire regular season Krak gave up a total of 4 sacks. Yet we gave up 7 in one playoff game. That same week Ho Chi gave up 9 sacks to the Tweetys (Another team with stud bookend DE's) and Singapore was sacked 8 times by ESL. That high sack rate by all 3 teams undoubtedly was a deciding factor in each games results.

I made a comment in another thread something to the effects of "Damn, they change the DE pass rush mechanics or what?" because of that weeks results.

Just for the record, that comment was never meant as a slight towards any of the teams who came out on the favorable end of those match ups!

Nothing we can say or do here will change what happened in our game. I didn't lose any sleep over it; it was your day. I'm honestly happy to have lost to the eventual winner of our league, of course i'd rather not have lost at all.

Trust me when I say that your DE's were no surprise to us. What surprised us is that they still dominated despite a gameplan almost specifically designed to stop them... and i think thats where our Owner got a bit miffed, believe it or not, he hates losing too! But I can't say enough about the fact that NACJAC's DE's are godly and props to Tare for building the best DE tandem in SEA Pro.

Tare and his DE's.. are just another story.

the real reason is because the 3 teams u mentioned with godly sacks LATE boosted. If we were to boost during regular season, you would see more sacks.

Awesome job NACJAC, you guys are a great team!

NACJAC did the same thing last year. All they care about in the regular season is making the playoffs, then they unleash the beast within.

People got 76 sacks during the regular season... Then boosted and got 17 in the playoffs against some of the best teams in our league.

So if he had boosted at the beginning he would have broken the 120 sack mark? Thats just nuts at any level of competition.
