The Blitz SA specifies the blitz action. Does that mean a DE or DT can't use it since they aren't blitzing?

The protect SA says you must be in the LT spot. Does that mean a center can't benefit from that piece of equipment. If so, why offer it to him?

Does aura of intimidation work on offense. Will a player with aura of intimidation reduce the morale of the defenders around him?

What is a lead block? Can a pulling guard benefit from the lead block SA or must a lead block come from the back field?

DEs and DTs are considered as blitzing, Bort said so when the changes were made to the DPC requiring X amount of blitzers in 3-4 and Y amount of blitzers in 4-3.

Yes, protector only offers a bonus to players in the LT spot. This is one of the few position specific SAs. Should it be offered to Centers? Probably not, but hey... that's a whole separate kettle of fish.

Lead block refers to anyone in front of the person with the ball, including pulling Guards. I don't know if I ever saw Bort say this, but I've heard it like 8 times.

Does closing speed work for all defensive players?

Supposedly, I didn't notice any difference though when I had it on my NT

Any answers on this....I have it for my DE and wonder if I should dump it. Does it apply to players rushing the QB? Bort?

He said something about it somewhere.
I don't remember exactly... but closing speed kinda sucks for a DE, I know.

I believe, though I'm not certain, that closing speed doesn't work at all against a QB that is dropping back to pass. If it does at all then it's almost no benefit. Unless your DE does zone coverage a lot or something, I wouldn't want closing speed for him, tbh.

i remember the same thing too Mal, that the offensive player must be 5 yards further downfield, not 5 yards away.

Bort has stated closing speed does not work against QB's in the pocket. HB's after receiving the handoff are open game. I had a DE with it and it worked but didn't significantly enhance him (had it upgraded to +3).

clarity is not that good might need to clarify what is class specific or not
this is not as easy to read on some of those AEQ/SA's
or list which are or are not class specific

this question does come up in Bort stalker?
