What went wrong ?

He is all speed and you were playing zone?

Can't expect to be perfect on every single play.

and I have close to 30 speed more than him

this is a good question. Most of the time when people ask these, its just because their feelings are hurt, but this is pretty ridiculous. If agility=acceleration, then how in the hell does a guy with 13 agility get off the line so fast and get up to max speed like that?

Had the same situation with a level 30 CB against a level 13 WR. Outleveled him in speed and agility. Strange.

You had 67 plays and you probably have low stamina. Looked like he was pretty depleted there. Not to forget cruise control. You guys were up 91 points at the time of that play.

Also, concerning the above post, agility does not = acceleration. It factors into acceleration but in no way is it the same as agility.

Play settings: 3-4; cover-1; man-to-man; short; run; strong side shift; blitz SS, LOLB, RILB
Player settings: Balanced; Close; Aggressive

Player had 57 or 67 energy at the end of the game

have had a similar situation with one of the teams im involved in, one of our players was running after a low lvl player with an open build... our guy had over 25 sped more and higher agility, with similar height and weight, but didnt gain at all on the other guy, didnt loose distance, just stayed a fixed distance behind him for about 60 yds... very odd...

There are a few threads dedicated to this in the "bugs" forum. It would be nice if you contributed there.

Once a team is ahead by 28 they go into cruise control, and things like the play posted happen.

But I don't like it for playing at Hard; Balanced; Close; Aggressive

Personally I'm not a huge fan of cruise control, but it seems like it's here to stay.

That cruise control thing sucks! It destroys team scouting.

How can you scout a team in advance if by half time they're way ahead and cruise control kicks in.
