Warrior General Games

We are working on lots of stuff to make this game bigger and better every day. Things are mostly functional enough to play the game right now, but there are some pieces that we really want to get put in.

Below is a list of things we have planned for the future, and things we are finishing up soon. We have some more stuff floating around, but this is what I could think of right now:

HIGH priority
- Fame, endorsements
- The rest of the penalties
- World hall of fame, records (all leagues)
- Adding an achievements and milestones page for players
- Transaction history per player and per league

MEDIUM priority
- Team owner announcements on players' home pages
- Adding achievements and milestones for teams
- Adding a training history page for players
- Highlight your player's plays in the PBP (or any selected player)
- Forum update - mark all as "read"
- Sortable roster page
- Allow sharing of tactics and current XP point levels
- Team advertising and fan appreciation day
- Activity meter ( http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=288543 )
- Player injuries that reduce stats for a game or two (no season long ACL tears or anything)

LOW priority
- Show "remaining salary" on team finance page
- Off-day training exercises to gauge your skills (40-yd dash, how far can I throw, etc) with possible competition features
- Adding more features to the forum such as smiley images and sigs, same-page editing
- Forum update - add a page that shows all recently posted unread threads
- Update friends list to allow you to share stats with friends
- Player numbers, and number retirement
- MVP voting
- Offensive/Defensive/ST player of the week on league page
- Add Lead Blocker identification to PBP (beyond watching the replay)
- Showing which equipment you own when you go to the purchase screen
- Recent team forum posts on home page
- Player notepad/scratch pad area that can be private or public
- RSS feeds for game results, etc.
- Add pancakes to PBP

Other ideas that are in the works at some point
- Allowing team owners to set the colors for their team page (team colors)
- Allowing team owners to upload a team banner (more than just logo image)
- Players gain reputations that affect their opponents' morale and play style
- Chat room type option for teams

Looks like you have things mapped out pretty well as for what to work on. Smiley images and sigs don't take long to set up, but can be a drain on bandwith. So I am not worried about that till later.

What I am looking forward to is the training history page and team chemistry. I can only imagine what bonuses you would get for keeping a core of players together for so long.

Bort are you the crippler?

I am interested to hear what everyone thinks about this.

What seems most important to most people? Some of this stuff is not going to take long to finish; We just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Also I nice idea down the road is adding bonus for hitting a certain objective. 20 td or 20 sacks just examples the get a bonus amount of money. That could be offered on contracts

That will definitely be part of the game.

Yeah totally overlooked that, that will add another level of strategy to the game for sure.

oo i love strategy and i hope i get picked to get a team but i already got invited to this so i better not push my luck...to much

not to be buggy but its be nice to have a slighter darker colored forum white doesnt do the eyes good =/

id also like a skill thing
where if u hover over them they explain a bit about what they do (just to be clear about it all)

You know, late at night this white is kind of hurting my eyes. I'll look into maybe changing it around, even if just for the forum.

We plan to eventually add popup tooltips on all the attributes (like the special skills). We'll also write up a skill FAQ.

Maybe some of the NPC's values should change to best fit our created players..


I mean there are level 7's and stuff out their..and we all just created our level ones...The first couple games its going to be pretty hard to compete IMO

so the NPCs should mabe get a Nerf
