100, 100, 190, 63.93, 41.93, 30.93

The result for all of these is 4.56

40 Time is infuenced by Agility,Speed,Stamina,Vision,Jumping and Football Skill Carrying Plus if you have a 1st Step.Strength,Confidence and certain Football Skills like Catching,Blocking,Throwing ect. have no effect on the 40 Time.

It is all part of it. Maybe confidence is for if your player isn't going fast, he doesn't get down.

only in real life is strength good for short bursts of speed i guess. i guess they needed to look like there was more to the calculations. I know first step helps out a lot.

First step is like acceleration. And agility is too.

I'm just saying, the 40 yard dash calculation doesn't account for it. Otherwise how do you explain no difference in outcome when confidence is 100 and when it's 0? or when strength is a 100 and when it's 0?

It judges how naturaly fast they are Strenght depending on the weight can be fat or muscle if fat and heavier then hes gonna be slower but if hes strong and is lean he will be faster.Confidence does he have it to run a good time less confidense slower time but only when the abilities are high enough then those 2 catagories kick in a little extra either way till then it doesn't effect the speed.

If you want speed you need Agility,Speed and 1st Step those are a must.

Agility and 1st Step is your take off speed + acceleration you need agility before speed to be real fast.

Yep thats why for every time i add one skill point to my OT speed from now on his 40 time drops more then it would if i did speed first then agility. like my level 25 DT he runs a 4.86 40 time and he is 335 pounds with 77 strength without level 24 EQ.
