Nevermind, found the answer.

Is there some way of canceling a challenge once it's been sent? I think I might have accidently sent one by clicking the link out of curiousity. I thought there'd be options available or something but I was sent back to my homepage.

no nothing was sent as the team owner is the only one that can send a scrimmage request

Kinda - it's mainly to allow everybody to have a chance to play friendlies and make you think twice about scheduling 100's of them

What happens if we are challenged to a friendly on the same day I already have a proper league game? can we play 2 games in one day? I ask this because a friends team plays their league games on the opposite days to us.
