sorry but you guys are going to have to live without rankings for a couple of days. Work has been crazy this weekend with changes and the first 3 days of this week will be nuts. So the little bit of time I will have here will be dedicated to scouting and game planning. I am off Thursday so you can probably look for them then, but the wife wants to go see Angels and Demons so it might not be till friday. sorry.

The books were good, but frankly I thought the first movie sucked. Angels and Demons was the better book though, and it has more of a movie-ish storyline so I might see it.

Yeah, I'll give it to you there, Angels & Demons was BY FAR a batter book...but I wasn't disappointed w/ the the movie for the first one...I thought it did the book justice. But NO WHERE near teh storyline of Angels & Demons...not even close...it was a book I COULDN'T put down...kept sucking me in....

A&D was my favorite book I read in a long time.....so the movie probably won't live up to hype and won't have the detail I want it to. I loved the detail that was talked about because I deal with some of it on a daily basis with my job. The sceintific part that was talked about. I never got into Star Trek and it probably won't spark my interest to watch.

I know a lot of people who never got into Star Trek and they LOVED the movie. Definitely an awesome action flick. The great thing is that since it takes place before everything, you don't really have to know any of the history of Star Trek in order to follow the plot.

Angels & Demons was 10x better than Star Trek! The movie was REALLY good. I NEVER had an interest in Star Trek, and granted the movie was ACTUALLY pretty damn good...the level of intensity, and storyline was NOWHERE near Angels & Demons!

I think people throw around the word trekkie too loosely. I like star trek and I watch the shows sometimes but i would never be called a trekkie. That would be like calling someone a Deadhead just because they own some Grateful Dead albums.

I have just not been able to get into those books so I have had no interest in the movies. Hearing how much loves them makes me want to like them but I just don't lol. Star Trek was a great action movie, not real deep but still a great movie

I agree. It all depends on what you consider a trekkie to be. I've followed the shows and movies, but I'm not going to any conventions dressed as a Klingon... Vulcan maybe, but not a Klingon...

I know someone else who feels the same. And as GREAT of a writer Dan Brown is, not ALL minds take in his technique like others....Either you have the imagery and 'historic' mind set to build the story in your head, or you don't...His writing is VERY advanced, and VERY insightful...some minds just can't take it all in at once. Not saying they're 'dumb' either, not all minds work alike, this the reason we ALL don't agree on EVERYTHING in the world. The imagery & comprehensive/artistic side of our brains works differently for all...aka. 'Opinions'.
