I have just not been able to get into those books so I have had no interest in the movies. Hearing how much loves them makes me want to like them but I just don't lol. Star Trek was a great action movie, not real deep but still a great movie
I know someone else who feels the same. And as GREAT of a writer Dan Brown is, not ALL minds take in his technique like others....Either you have the imagery and 'historic' mind set to build the story in your head, or you don't...His writing is VERY advanced, and VERY insightful...some minds just can't take it all in at once. Not saying they're 'dumb' either, not all minds work alike, this the reason we ALL don't agree on EVERYTHING in the world. The imagery & comprehensive/artistic side of our brains works differently for all...aka. 'Opinions'.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed reading Digital Fortress and Deception Point by Dan Brown and am very much a fan of his writing style. While I don't think those books go anywhere near as deep as Angels and Demons and the Da Vinci Code I still think they show how good of a writer he is. So it isn't that I can' take all his imagery and build a story in my head, I just didn't particularly care for those two books. They weren't bad books by any means...just a bit over rated in my opinion...considering everybody and their mother talks about how great the books were (even when I know they weren't smart enough to actually understand them lol).
