Actually, the biggest flaw with the program he's described is that he's using points for/against equally. In other words, a TD vs. the Benitos counts just as much as a TD vs. the San Paulo Salivating Sharks. For the same reason, it is useless for calculating cross conference because there's no way to know the relative strengths of teams.
I know Zeta feels like it doesn't get much respect. But I think they have to agree that there is a slight imbalance towards the Alpha conference.
That's true. Really it only takes into consideration your strength of schedule vs. teams you won and lost to. It doesn't do anything with deeper thought.
