i said theoretically - because only Bort could answer with any degree of certainty - and I don't expect him to (since I was soliciting opinions from the masses).

no one knows exactly what the bonus is for tunnel vision (when it kicks in) - is it 5% to speed and agility? 10? 15? 20?

same goes for Blitz - we have no clue what the % increase is when rushing the QB...

Tunnel Vision now gives the ability to get a speed boost after stunning a blocker, so it's gained some value IMO. Blitz just gives you a flat bonus when blitzing (not as big as TV)

Thank god! My player has been sitting on a big fat 10 of useless Tunnel Vision for a few seasons now. I got one good season out of it and then it went to crap.

that makes sense I suppose - an "always on" SA gives you a lesser bonus than a "must activate" SA -


also - i think we're all looking forward to seeing how the new OLine/DLine interaction is - and how the slow down to QB release time affects pressures (and the new First Step / Tunnel Vision dynamic) -


I haven't seen where anyone (r8?) posted any of the findings from these new changes on the test servers -

also - have you increased the 'stun' rate as you said last season you were going to "probably" keep inching it up - or have you left it alone waiting to see how these other affects change things?

I'm waiting on some more results before adjusting the stun rate any. Early returns so far today are showing quite a few hurries going on, and definitely more sacks; I'll be monitoring in general. It's always tough to tell from the earliest games because they are often somewhat mismatched or low level.

More sacks FTW. Hurries FTok, since 1 game last season my DE got like 14hurries against a gutted team and 1 or 0 sacks.
