Bort how far away does a defender have to be from the ballcarrier for "Closing Speed" to kick in? Can we at least get a ball-park number here? >_>

I know it has nothing to do with the topic but you're a hard man to reach.

knock loose is separate from the catching system; it's more part of the tackling system.

Also, There's another intercept opportunity at the end if the WR fails the catch.

Defenders can also intercept the ball on their own, just by being in the right spot at the right time.

so?

1. Intercept
if fail
2. PD vs Catch
if catch fails
3A. 2nd Intercept chance, then 2nd PD vs Catch
if catch wins
3B. Move to Knocked lose vs secure ball

Also, since Season 10, interception rolls has been toned down for CBs. Is it the same this season or can we expect an increase?

Curious about this one as well.

So...it's:
interception roll ==> failed==> PD roll ==> failed ==> WR catch roll==>success==> knock loose roll
.......................................................................................................................==>failed==> interception roll==> failed ==> PD roll...repeating?

so closing speed only provides a boost to spd/agility once you get within 5 yds, or once you get that close it turns off?

Too many pages. Has it already been clarified that the anti-KL portion of the Possession Receiver VA works on reception attempts longer than 8 yards?

I have noticed an increase just in the two preseason games that I have watched from the various teams I am involved with.
