i agree...just saying that your best bet would be having the first 1 or 2 progressions in that idea and adding my idea of being able to switch the hot route for the play. the 2 ideas together would make things work a ton better imo.

Bort, you realize the main obstacle to creating balance is the fact that GLB leagues have awful competitive balance.

Yep, and the league where this is the ultimate competitive balance, wr's did nothing, and the qb's only option was the RB.

Including myself there are probably less than 10 people that would be qualified for that type of think tank. Being good at GLB would be a fractional part of the criteria. It would be a good idea though if Bort treated it properly.

Not unless any number of improvements are made to zones.

This is what I'm talking about Bort. When a WR enters the boxed area, the QB will focus on him to see if he emerges open or gains a step, the QB's release is sped up during this time since he's focused on the WR...however, if the WR does not come open, until his next WR(or TE) hits the boxed area, his release is slowed down. If none are open, he'll either tuck it, throw it to the most open man or throw it away...if he's not already sacked.

That is in play on some routes for some plays. But not all (most of the older plays). On the route definition, I have the ability to put in a "pass to me starting here" spot. When that gets hit, the QB knows the receiver is entering the spot in his route where he can catch the ball. Without that, drag routes would never get a target and HB routes behind the LOS would get ignored as well.

jrry for admin imo. Make it happen Bort.

I don't think jrry lives in Oregon, has experience in customer support, or knows about programming games

I do know Football though. And I don't even want to be an admin, hopefully with this new suggestion system, I Can get some of my good ideas down and Bort will be able to actually read them instead of me seeing some of my ideas implemented 3 seasons later.

Bort already said it really wouldn't be worth it:

The Think Tank would imo, be a bunch of guys arguing, with Bort barely able to spare any time to really get as involved as you'd like, and then 50 guys throwing a fit because Bort isn't listening every minute.

Read my mind.

I thought Quick Release just decreased "wind up" of a pass, giving zone defenses less time to react. Bullet passing would also be a counter, rather than lofty passes all day.

Your right, I'm just saying if QR actually buffed speed without the negative effects of bullet it would counter zone D's. Yes it would be overpowered, but then again, so is ZS right now.

Zone Specialist is touchy imo

Ball Hawk is what makes it insane. +30% to speed agility and vision is way too much, and allows players to cover too much ground.

Without Zone Specialist though, zone itself is pretty bad. I personally think zone would be balanced with just ZS and no Ball Hawk...but then you have the problem of "Everyone needs this overpowered VA to make zone viable". Which of course, isn't the best solution, but it's better than the current state of ZS + BH.

Project Epic is getting shit done. You make a good suggestion, IT WILL get looked at personally by Bort

Only problem I see is that Bort would have to figure out how in the sim to change everything you will be suggesting...

Is the quicker release part on it? That would be the key to combat zones and ZS/BH.
