I answer this question at least 10 times per season...perhaps it should be in the FAQ?

Global rank is sorted by your raw MVP score, which adds up all your stats and assigns you a "quality" score.

Conference rank is a combination of your raw score, your percentage of your team's total output, and your score in comparison to other players at your position in the conference. Therefore, it is entirely possible for the global to be different than conference rank.

oh so better players win in conference but maybe not in global

ex. Santonio>Calvin in conf

but Calvin>Holmes in Global

if they were in the same conf

How would my conference score be lower than players who have far less stats? the way you explained it would lead me to believe that your conference score should be HIGHER than your global score if you are producing alot of your teams production.

It makes no sense that a player who is the best player in the game could end up not even winning his conference.

That is pretty unlikely, though I guess it's possible if he has teammates who produce a lot of stats too.

Global 6, conference rank 2. I actually think it is fair, and understand why it is coded. my player too.

IDK if you noticed, but your team is scoring about 200 points per game so compared to a team who is not nearly as good you'd have to have way more personal accomplishments just to be at the same percentage of the team's total output as someone with way less personal accomplishments, but is basically the reason for most of his team's success.

My return man has roughly the same amount of total yards as my teams offense.

So whats keeping him from being ranked higher in the conference ST ranks? This awesome cloud system that hasn't given us a competitive game yet? (including a 123-0 win over a 13-0 team today)?

That's the whole point. The rest of your team is contributing more than you think, every time anyone other than you makes a good play, offense, defense or special teams, it takes away from that percentage of yours. Considering your defense has completely shut out every team you've played, you really didn't need those 140+ return TDs to win those games, while those other two guys may have had games where they needed every return touchdown they had to win the game.

Perhaps a lot of things should be in the FAQ? Or at least somewhere... You have to realize that most people don't read every single forum post in all of glb. easter egg hunts were kind of fun when we were 5 years old maybe...
