Nope.

Do you feel an elusive HB should have to have 61+ str?

61 Strength is nothing.

But seriously, he is more of a combo back, so I'm not sure that is what you were referring to.

Even though he is one of the best at fakes.

They're not supposed to. Elusive =/= fake. Elusive backs should elude tacklers by keeping as much distance from them as possible while trying to continue gaining yards. There are tons of HBs in the NFL who are laughably bad at trying to juke defenders, but succeed by making cuts to create space.

Let me put it another way....Strength and carrying break tackles whether you have SAs or not....Agility does not execute fakes unless you have SAs....That in itself makes it more difficult for the elusive back than the power back. An ealr ypower back can great break tackle % AE and it rolls. An early elusive back gets fake chance % AE and it does nothing until he has SAs...

Pure Elusive (Strengthless) aka Reggie Bush, Eric Metcalf
Atts = 125 Speed, 80 Agility, 68 Carrying, 68 Vision, 48 Stamina, 48 Confidence, 48 Strength
VA's = Quick Feet, Clever Instincts, Slippery, Clutch
SA's = Quick Cut 5, Head Fake 9 Juke 9, Slippery 9
AEQ = 40% Fake

There is no way you can bump Strength to 70 on that type of build.

Exactly but if a guy specializes in running AWAY from defenders, why the hell should he need any strength.

How bout if I just copy Tea Baggins' current build to my dev server? I'd say he's pretty much been the epitome of "elusive" back for a while, no?

I could make the generic posted HB as well, and test him out.

In any case, I've got a few things added to my "things to try" list that I keep.

Tea Baggins hasn't been an epitome of elusive backs, hes been the epitome of GOAT since S1.

FYP a lot

This, I have seen power HBs IRL fake guys out. There should be an inherent ability to take.

No. Some power HBs in "real football" can juke people, but powerbacks in GLB can invest in Head Fake or Juke. I promise you that being able to fake defenders is not something inherent to all running backs. Many who try are completely inept.

But they have the ability to make the moves. I mean if Bort at least allowed high agility RBs to make better cuts and cutbacks, that would do some of it because even big fat power HBs who can't juke worth a damn can make guys miss because of a cutback move. I don't mean fake as in use juke or head fake, I mean use a quick cut or cutback to cause the guy to go off balance because he can't change direction quick enough to keep up with the HB.

Less Speed more Agility imo

You lie!

Seriously, though, CBs make an inordinate number of tackles given their generally low tackling attribute. Since my guess was wrong, maybe it has something to do with the HB moving horizontally or not having much speed at that point, since momentum is a known factor. Whatever the cause, it's way easier for a CB to tackle a HB on the corner than it is for a LB with 25 more tackling to bring him down off tackle.

He probably would need soft capped at most, if he was truly elusive

What concerns me is elusive backs had issues as it was and WR's. So why are you going to hurt those that are already hurting?

didn't we already go over the fact that it isn't elusive backs using spin?

They are in the form of "Combo Backs"..... so....

[x]Elusives
[x]Combo
[ ]Power

Time to nerf the Power Back IMO.

Why nerf anything at all unless it's actually BROKEN?
