lots of room for exploiting if that flex was given to the owner of the team for anything other than friendlies in my opinion....

primarily because of multi accounts - and the fact that a new account starts with flex.

beyond that - it would just open up a way for players to transfer flex among each other - which doesn't exactly fit with the current GLB mode (exploitable)

I don't think that carrying and catching are really comparable to throwing in importance.. a better comparison would probably be vision or confidence

I had a followup question to one tautology asked earlier about a player (wr in his example) hitting a player from behind giving them a speed boost. Is there any other effect, or should there be in your opinion, to the player that is hit. For example while it gives them a speed boost, should it not also potentially throw them off balance making them less able to turn or take them a moment to get their feet under them (reduction in agility?). Is there something like this already in place?

Does mentor actually work like it says? People keep insisting it is just a fake va, that does not give a bonus. If I have a player with 50 vision, and he gets 25% boost from mentor will his vision be the same as a player with 62.5 vision and no bonus?

Bort could you answer this, I keep being told, that mentor does not work like this. Is there a lesser addition of vision from the mentor bonus, than from actual sp's? Or is it exactly the same

It's only for friendlies because the team flex bank is designed specifically for helping your team owner pay for friendlies.

It's a flat attribute bonus. If there is a 25% boost from mentors and the mentorable player has base 60 vision, his adjusted base vision will be 75.
