Yeah, strength really only helps you when you have to fight with the receiver to get the ball. If you're standing all alone, you're not going to need a lot of strength to catch the ball.

So I guess that means on the infamous jump the route plays that CBs always bitch about when not getting intercepted, that means vision, jumping, and catching probably play a large roll and strength plays little to none? I'd of thought there was some strength requirement needed to counteract ball velocity or pass quality.
