best all purpose back ever. I agree.
Makaveli, your avatar gives your bias away. To answer your question, I'd go with Campbell, but both were incredible backs. Sanders was unbelievably good at making people miss, but once you got him wrapped up, he was going down. Campbell could make people miss and had a way of slipping free even when 2 guys were all over him.

There are many times sanders had more then one ppl trying to tackle him and he broke them. He was more in to just making them miss tho. Also Just because my avatar is Sanders is no point to be Bias. I just like Sanders the way he ran is in no comparison to any RB to play or to that has played since.
Im gonna go with sanders... Campbell was amazing but everyone knew Sanders was gonna get the ball they stacked 8 in the box every play and he still shredded the Defense... Both were great to watch along with several other great RB... But sanders had no line and still did what he did... Absolutely amazing player...

Agree and you name is the longest ive even seen lol.
Apples and oranges. Sanders ran to avoid contact, Campbell invited it. I hate to compare players from different era's, but longevity has to play a factor here...neither played as long as they could have, but in my opinion, Barry was the better back.
Best of all time? No.
You gotta do everything to be the best...Barry didn't block and was only a slightly better than average receiver.
