While working with updating and improving the pulling ability of guards on pitch plays, we discovered most guards were going to need some help pulling them off more effectively. So, we are adding the "Pulling Lineman" veteran ability, which is now available to select on the VA screen.
Pulling Lineman gives a speed and acceleration boost when doing the pull motion on rushing plays. You can think of it as similar to the First Step SA, but for pulling linemen only. In fact, here's a little tip: you can improve your pulling ability quite a bit by picking up some First Step advanced equipment to go along with using this new VA.
Right now, Guards are the only ones who are going to be able to take advantage, since the only plays with pulling linemen include guards. So, if you are a C or OT, you probably want to skip this one for now unless you are playing out of position. However, we may add plays with other pulling players in the future.
To allow the OL players out there to use the skill, I've given all C, G, and OT's an additional set of reset points, and I'm going to keep resets open until the end of day 2, instead of the end of day 0.
Nice to have some additional resets for the o-line. Not sure what I think of the new VA yet...but sounds interesting for guards...

Coming soon... the ability to pick First Step as a bonus SA for your G.

What will it replace?
Nothing - it's a bonus SA - an 11th one if you will. You can pick from any available SA (only on player creation though so you need to think about it before you pick it)

can you theoretically give a player both change direction and quick cut (assuming they already have one in the natural tree)?
Nope.

I'll be posting more info on player archetypes within the next week probably, just giving the testers time to review it one last time.

Will it cost more like the 5th SA?
No will be like one of the first four slots (meaning +1 SP for 1 point to start)

Can we expect to see 'new' SA's introduced as well?
No but we're discussing VA's that will be complements to SA's per archetype
