Iron Man Leagues = Fail
The only thing I can think of that makes that somewhat interesting is that it makes it fairly obtainable for a single agent to build his own team.
Reminds me of this scenario:
Player A never made it past 7th grade Football when there used to be 19 players on the team. He was obviously a stud in Middle School and was the starting MLB and RB and scored 4 of the teams 9 touchdowns for the season.
He fell out of football in 8th grade after a new kid transferred in and took his starting spot at RB and he never tried to play again.
People forgot Player A was ever on the football team in Junior High School, but Player A never forgot.
Flash forward 12 years:
Player A finds GLB a few seasons after joining the real world workforce. Player A eavesdrops on a few of the coolguys at the Watercooler sharing AI secrets for some game called Goallineblitz. He checks it out, and tries to get in with the Watercooler gang, but for some reason they just won't invite him out to play Golf or anything.
They won't even let him basque in the glory of their LOLtrophy season. He is unable to get into any social circle on the game, and wants a chance to "play by himself".
He thinks getting back to his roots where he can be the stud again will win him some points with the cool kids and they will hail him the GLB Savior....
Yep... That sums up my thoughts on Iron Man Leagues
