Edit - 28/5 - Ive written a few more plans if people want to follow them.

This is all my work (except otherwise credited) - if you want to put it somewhere, reference me!

Ok, the first thing to learn from the new training system is that there are so many ways to go about training a dot now - I have only chosen to mention 5 to keep things simple. The same tactic of building will not work for every player. Im assuming you are taking 14TP (or something about there) with you next season, and THIS ONLY APPLIES TO THIS SEASONS PEEWEE BUILDS. To train older players, I recommend training one attribute on relaxed to get the bonus tokens to unlock multi-training 1 attribute, and keep to your old build plans, or if youre at a stage where SA is more important, only train one attribute on relaxed.

Note before reading:
1st attribute - The attribute that you want to be getting the highest at the start
2nd attribute - The attribute that you want to be getting quite high, but not as high as the first
And so on...

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------NEW PLANS - 28/5

1st build plan - A mix of enhanced training and unlocking 3 attributes
POSITIVES - Best gains, very nice attribute spread
NEGATIVES - Slow to impact, low extra SPs
DOTS SUITED - You can have a whole team built like this. I wouldnt be surprised if this becomes a building standard, though some dots will definitely be better off in other build plans. Best for QBs, HBs, WRs and pass-rushing DEs Id say.
PLAN - Train your 1st attribute on RELAXED until you've earned yourself 30BT. With those 30BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd and 4th attribute, and unlocking level 1 enhanced train for your 2nd-4th attributes. Then switch training to multi-train your 1st, 3rd and 4th attributes in that order, until your first game. Then, switch your 1st attribute with your 2nd and pour all SP into your 1st. When you've hit your 1st attribute target (With this plan, would be best to make it your 3rd, maybe even 4th cap), switch training your 2nd attribute with your 5th attribute, whilst pouring SP into your 2nd attribute. For all BT you get, spend on getting SP (except for equipment upgrades, of course).

2nd build plan - Fumanchuchu spread (Fumanchuchu, this is for you)
POSITIVES - Biggest spread of all, takes advantage of low-attribute high training gains, takes advantage of the freedom of choosing training combos
NEGATIVES - You wont get the highest 1st and 2nd attributes, will take a while to make an impact, low BT
DOTS SUITED - The best speedster WR needs to use this plan. If you want to have a spread of 6+ attributes, this is for you.
PLAN - Train your 2nd attribute on INTENSE until before your first game, then spend all SP on 1st attribute and unlock 4th attribute multi-train, so you can switch training to your 3rd and 4th attributes. When you're happy with how high your 3rd attribute is, switch your 3rd with your 5th attribute. When you want to stop training your 4th attribute, you can unlock multi training for your 6th attribute (if you dont want to train your 5th too, then make it your 7th attribute) and switch your 4th attribute. You can keep going in that pattern, but I think Ive made my point.

More builds to come from me soon.

Gerr's build plan - A mix of normal training(best ratio of training gains to BT's) and multi training 2 attributes(best overall training gains)
POSITIVES - See line above (you've done my work for me there Gerr)
NEGATIVES - Limited to 4 attributes, will effect dot later in the season
DOTS SUITED - CBs, SS and FS would benefit from a plan like this, any dot where you need a good 4-attribute spread
PLAN - Train your 1st attribute on NORMAL until you've earned yourself 15 BT*. With those 15 BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd attribute, and unlock level 1 enhanced training for your 2nd & 3rd attributes. Then switch training to multi-train your 2nd & 3rd attributes, until your 1st attribute hits it's desired level. Then, switch your multi training to the 3rd & 4th attribute while you pump your SP's into the 2nd attribute. It's up to you if you want to use 5 BT's to bump your 4th attribute's training gains by 10%, but I would. Just continue this pattern as you bring each attribute to it's desired level. You will need to use some BT's to unlock new multi training, but the trick is to unlock the odd numbered attributes. It's up to you if you want to bump each attribute's training gains by 10%, but at the low levels, I think it's worth it. You wont have a lot of spare BT's, but you will have some to spend and they can buy what ever you want.

*an alternative that will raise your 1st attribute higher is NORMAL train your 1st attribute until Day #1 and then switch to the multi-training and use the extra BT's to buy SP's that can be put into the 1st attribute. This would be better for those positions where their 1st attribute is the core of the player and will hit at least the 2nd cap. Your 2nd-4th skills will suffer a little, but will still be decent after a couple games.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OLD PLANS

1st build plan - Focus on one attribute.
POSITIVES - Your 1st attribute will be the highest
NEGATIVES - Your build will not be spread out compared to usual peewee builds
DOTS SUITED - Kickers, punters, strength-based DTs, basically any dot where one attribute makes most of the difference. If your peewee player will be built for the long term, this plan is the best way of going about it too.
PLAN - Train only your 1st attribute, on INTENSE, until before your first game. Pour all your skill points into your 1st attribute, nothing else, and all BT should be spent on extra SP only. Train up your 2nd attribute on RELAXED to get as much BT as possible. When you've hit your 1st attribute target (for long-term players, this would be higher than 3rd cap, for peewee, best to make it 2nd, or maybe even 3rd cap) start pouring SP into your 2nd attribute instead, and train your 3rd attribute on RELAXED. If you want to spend points on SAs, now's the best time to do it, though you should only spend on SAs that are relevant to your 1st attribute (like, say power through for strength)

2nd build plan - Cookie cutter
POSITIVES - 1st and 2nd attributes will be pretty high, better spread than 1st plan
NEGATIVES - Limited amount of spread
DOTS SUITED - FS, Returners/Pure speed HB/WR/CB builds... any dot that needs 2 high attributes to preform well (in those cases, speed and agility). Can be suited for 3 attributes too. Also suited to you personally if you want to build dots like previous seasons.
PLAN - Train only your 1st attribute, on RELAXED, until before your first game, for the greater amount of BT. As soon as you get enough BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd attribute (you'll see why) and all BT you gain should go straight to extra SP. Before the first game, pour all SP into your first attribute, and switch training to multi-train - setting your 2nd attribute as the first one to train, and your 3rd attribute as the second one to train. You don't need to unlock the first attribute to multi-train, only the 2nd, 3rd, and so on. When you've reached your 1st attribute target, start pouring SP into your 2nd attribute, and multi-train with your 4th attribute as the first one to train instead of your 2nd attribute. If you want to stop training your 3rd attribute and start pouring SP into it, then switch to single train your 4th attribute on RELAXED, for the greater amount of SP from BT.

3rd build plan - Multi-training 3 attributes
POSITIVES - Nice spread between 5 attributes, best training gains
NEGATIVES - 2nd attribute never as high as previous build, will take a while to make an impact
DOTS SUITED - QB, LB, dots that you want to build with some variety in attributes. This will most likely become the new standard for building peewee dots.
PLAN - Single train your 1st attribute on RELAXED for those lovely BT, until before your first game. As soon as you have enough BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd and 4th attribute (Im guessing you'll have enough BT from saving up TP, but if not, unlock 3rd attribute first, multi-train until 4th attribute unlocked) then just spend the rest of your BT on getting SP. Before the first game, pour SP into your 1st attribute, then multi-train 3 attributes - your 2nd attribute as the first to train, then your 3rd and 4th attributes. When you've reached your 1st attribute target, start pouring SP into your 2nd attribute, and multi-train with your 5th attribute as the first one to train instead of your 2nd attribute. If you want to stop training your 3rd attribute and start pouring SP into it, then switch to single train your 4th/5th attribute on RELAXED, for the greater amount of SP from BT.

4th build plan - Short SP splurge
POSITIVES - Attributes reach caps first, very spread out
NEGATIVES - Does effect build in later stages of season, never any high-capped attribute
DOTS SUITED - If you picked a "combo" archetype, this is for you. If you're doing something like "First cap ----- then train -----" then this is for you too if you want to keep that build pattern going. The best example of a dot using this build plan that I can think of is an outside blocking FB. Special teamers are another good example.
PLAN - Single train your 1st attribute on RELAXED for as much BT as possible before your first game, like the title suggests you'll want to be splurging as much SP as possible so convert all BT into SP. Before the first game, pour SP into your 1st attribute, and train your 2nd attribute on RELAXED. When you reach 1st cap on your 1st attribute, train your 3rd attribute on RELAXED and pour SP into your 2nd attribute, and the cycle repeats.

5th build plan - Enhanced training
POSITIVES - 2nd attribute grows quicker than any other build, takes advantage of enhanced training
NEGATIVES - Not much spread
DOTS SUITED - Similar to the 2nd build plan, players with 2 or 3 main attributes would benefit here. If you're building an Elusive HB with spin focus, this'll be good to make sure your speed doesn't get too far behind agility.
PLAN - Single train your 1st attribute on RELAXED, as per usual, until before the first game starts. When you have enough BT, unlock enhanced training for your 2nd attribute, never go beyond 2 levels of it though, and only go to 2 levels if you plan on 3rd capping your 1st attribute, or even further. Before the first game, spend your SPs on your 1st attribute, and switch training to your 2nd attribute on INTENSE (this is to make full use of the enhanced training). When you've reached your 1st attribute target, start pouring SP into your 2nd attribute, then train your 3rd attribute on RELAXED for those extra SP. If you want to stop training your 3rd attribute and start pouring SP into it, then switch to single train your 4th attribute on RELAXED.

Those build plans are guides though. Im not telling you how to build dots, or how Im going to be building my dots, just giving out some advice. If anyone thinks the plans need refining, praise, or just plain hating, please feel free.

Thanks guys!

If you just want to go about the old system, the 2nd build plan is for you.

Definitely.

The new training system will improve peewee builds, IMHO. Theres more variety, so youre not just building the same player as everyone else now.

I think there's still only one good way to build one-and-done players, and none of them are mentioned in this thread.

Some of the shortcomings with these methods I know to be fact, while others are more of a casual observation based on math I've done over the last few weeks.

Will be interesting to see how everyone turns out this season.

Not true. Take a peewee kicker - Kicking, strength, vision and confidence are the attributes that most apply to them, and you'd want to get Kicking as high as possible. Then theres a peewee MLB - Strength, speed, agility, vision, all of them need good investment to produce an effective MLB. You need different build plans to reflect the spread of attributes.

There are shortcomings to every method, hence positives and negatives. Want to share some of these?

No, as that would be silly on my part.

Thanks for the guide, but I still need to see buttons to push. Might as well be looking at the inside of an Egyptian tomb.
