There are many good ways to build under the new system... and these five are only a few.

Very true, but if I kept listing and listing Id be there all day . I chose just those 5 to keep things simple, though if anyone wants to add more plans I'll be welcome to add them to the main post.

Concentrate on BTs early versus concentrate on BTs late is the question.

That to me is going to be the big one...

I've got a few experimental builds where I'm working with the item crafting system.

1st build plan - A mix of enhanced training and unlocking 3 attributes
POSITIVES - Best gains, very nice attribute spread
NEGATIVES - Slow to impact, low extra SPs
DOTS SUITED - You can have a whole team built like this. I wouldnt be surprised if this becomes a building standard, though some dots will definitely be better off in other build plans. Best for QBs, HBs, WRs and pass-rushing DEs Id say.
PLAN - Train your 1st attribute on RELAXED until you've earned yourself 30BT. With those 30BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd and 4th attribute, and unlocking level 1 enhanced train for your 2nd-4th attributes. Then switch training to multi-train your 1st, 3rd and 4th attributes in that order, until your first game. Then, switch your 1st attribute with your 2nd and pour all SP into your 1st. When you've hit your 1st attribute target (With this plan, would be best to make it your 3rd, maybe even 4th cap), switch training your 2nd attribute with your 5th attribute, whilst pouring SP into your 2nd attribute. For all BT you get, spend on getting SP (except for equipment upgrades, of course).

I think a 2 attribute version of this might be very popular...

Gerr's build plan - A mix of normal training(best ratio of training gains to BT's) and multi training 2 attributes(best overall training gains)
PLAN - Train your 1st attribute on NORMAL until you've earned yourself 15 BT*. With those 15 BT, unlock multi-training for your 3rd attribute, and unlock level 1 enhanced training for your 2nd & 3rd attributes. Then switch training to multi-train your 2nd & 3rd attributes, until your 1st attribute hits it's desired level. Then, switch your multi training to the 3rd & 4th attribute while you pump your SP's into the 2nd attribute. It's up to you if you want to use 5 BT's to bump your 4th attribute's training gains by 10%, but I would. Just continue this pattern as you bring each attribute to it's desired level. You will need to use some BT's to unlock new multi training, but the trick is to unlock the odd numbered attributes. It's up to you if you want to bump each attribute's training gains by 10%, but at the low levels, I think it's worth it. You wont have a lot of spare BT's, but you will have some to spend and they can buy what ever you want.

*an alternative that will raise your 1st attribute higher is NORMAL train your 1st attribute until Day #1 and then switch to the multi-training and use the extra BT's to buy SP's that can be put into the 1st attribute. This would be better for those positions where their 1st attribute is the core of the player and will hit at least the 2nd cap. Your 2nd-4th skills will suffer a little, but will still be decent after a couple games.

You concentrate on your BT...I will concentrate on training...............do the math

The one thing they all have in common, "Train only your 1st attribute....until before your first game."

Is a no-go imo. I would never train my first attribute beyond 90%+. IF my #2 attribute is higher than 20 I wont train it either.

If I have attributes that I need sitting at 10, I'm not going to give up value to train something at 22.

They all look like pretty viable plans though.

This is what I like, almost every build plan I've seen or come up with has a "yeah but" in it somewhere. Different build priorites actually dictate different training regimens instead of "Train on intense, save bts, shop."

Look at my plan, it only says to train your main attribute until you have 15 BT's, well shy of Day #1 if you create your player on day 40.

But I do agree with you, why train something that is 25-30 when you can train something that is 8-12.

Its very much like Thunder's old plans, to train your 1st attribute up while you can so that you wont be spending so much SP on reaching your target with it. Your 1st attribute will also be higher than other players who dont train it for quite a while whilst they play catch-up. I do agree that its a viable option though, some of my dots (not saying which ) will be doing that. Ive written you up a build plan, hope you like it!

Thanks for the build plan Gerr, yeah its like I have it against normal training, even though out of the 3 single training options it provides the best long-term investment. Ive added yours to the ever-growing list.

I get the impression that our dots will now have less in their main attribute (strength/speed), but will have more well-rounded builds.

how about the middle ground?

Train whatever attribute you would have trained on intense in the old system on normal and alternate from day to day or until you reach a certain point.
