Is there any way to tell the difference? I don't know about other teams but I sometimes do use my rushing QB to throw so that it's not as easy to just tag and ignore, but obviously my QB with 60 speed is going to be a lot more likely to scramble than the one with 10 speed. So are all QB scrambles just ok or is it looked at in a case by case basis?

I'm not planning on abusing it but I wanted to make sure of the rules just in case we won by 6 or something and one of our TDs happened to be from a scramble play.

lol, I knew this was what you were getting at... as no one ask's about something that random (if it happens by accident) unless they are going to try and trigger it by design.

But hey, it may still be legal and within the rules as LE makes the determinations of whats allowed.

No really, I wasn't. I was the losing team in the game where the rule about multiple overtime's ended up getting made. I read the rule's again just as a refresher and wanted a clarification to avoid another situation like that. I know it seemed a bit random but when I saw the part about a score getting called back by a random rush play the sim throws in...wondered if random scrambles would be called back too.

If the QB does the check downs then takes off and runs then thats ok. If your intentionally trying to get the QB to scramble, that's not ok. This tourney wasn't meant for rushing QBs to cheat the system. I believe if you have a QB use targets and try to target a Fb in singleback he will just take off and run which will be evident, if I'm not mistaken.
