Right now the level difference in a lot of Regional Pro Leagues are too great. In our Regional Pro Elite league for instance we have some Level 50 teams with players between the ages of 279 days and 319 days that are lumped in there against teams that are level 70+ with players between the ages of 399-559 days old.

This produces a league that won't be competitive at all. Either restructure and reorganize the Regional Pro Leagues so that similar level teams are grouped together, (there are plenty of level 60-73 teams that you can place in their own league without grouping them with level 50-60 teams). The other option is to just create another age group and league for teams consisting of players 279-359 days old.

If you guys do this it will make those currently unbalanced Regional Pro Leagues more balanced and will stop a lot of teams from just walking away this season and putting things on auto pilot. More fun for us and no money loss for you.

My reasoning is they made this league change to supposedly make things more competitive. What they ended up doing to create the Regional Pro Leagues was they combined A-AAA. This has ended up grouping level 60-70 teams that were in AAA with level 50 teams that were supposed to be going into A and level 56 teams that were supposed to be moving into AA.

How are A teams supposed to compete with AAA teams especially when they are 20 levels lower than them? The answer is it isn't going to happen. What they need to do is add another league between Regional Pros and the Minors so that teams better suited for the old A-AA can compete with each other while Regional Pros will be left for teams who were supposed to be in AAA or upper AA teams. It's a simple fix and the only leagues that I see that have a huge level disparity are the Regional Pro Leagues and it is simply because they combined A-AAA into Regional Pros.

I agree with the OP. It is beyond me why they decided to basically combine all the A-AAA leagues into the Regional Pros and then not organize that correctly according to age. In my opinion it was far more balanced when there was A, AA and AAA. You would hardly ever see a 60-73 level team in A or AA but now those teams are grouped together with teams that are levels 50-60. Either organize the Regional Pros correctly or create another age group below it that would incorporate teams that would have been in A and AA.

Combining A and AA is one thing but combining A-AAA is just silly.

We'd rather get blown out by teams 10-20+ levels higher than us than blow out CPU teams.

...or at least that's what they'd like us to believe we believe.

The thing is that they can make changes that would consolidate leagues and not have CPU teams. If anything this current state is going to create more CPU teams.

I don't think it necessary.

Elite, Competitive, Regular should be able to take care of keeping it competitive after a season or two.
