I have not messed with the new DPC much but I did convert a couple plays the other day. The only thing I have noticed so far that will be a major adjustment for me is that I cannot spread my LBs out. I like how I can spread the D line and wish I could simply spread the LBs out to play outside the DEs in some situations.

My biggest complaint is this.......when a D player is told to cover a zone, after a RB has been given the ball and is running, the D player should be immediately released from the assigned zone and pursue the ball carrier.......but this doesn't happen.

so my options as an RB are: go fake-heavy, rape LB's and get owned by CB's
or
go spin-heavy, do decently against LB's and rape CB's

LOL. This is the only reason why I stay in this game. The humility is second to none. Please don't mess up that part of the game.

Uh ... no, because CBs aren't immune to fakes, plus it's easier to break tackles normally against them. Then the point you're missing is that Spin is much, much more powerful in this sim than a comparable SA like Power Through. That's due in part to the Quick Feet VA, which should probably be fake-only.

Yeah its not like Defenders have a half a dozen tackle boosting options. LOL
Basically you want to build one type of defender and design one type of defense that stops everything ... yeah ok

Blocks in the back--the bane of GLB defense.

That works both ways.
People want to be able to create offensive linemen that can effectively block any type of defensive lineman also.

And if they can't they nerf the DPC when those guys can't block...
