Forum > Suggestions > Give everyone the same media renevue regardless of elite, competive or normal league
Link

Since the media revenue is based if you are playing in an elite, competive or normal league (donīt know about the ticket prices) and the initial sorting of the leagues where not done like it was announcend, it woul be only fair to give all teams at the same age base the same money for at least 2 seasons.

Announcement

Q: Can you explain a bit how teams will be sorted and placed?

A: For the future, maximum aged player = age you're in, previous record combined with current elite/competitive/normal status determines placement. For initial sort, we will be going by maximum age of a player on a roster and then sort by average effective level while also accounting for performance factors (such as elite/competitive/normal status).

Here an example how big the difference is:

Day 261+ - Regional Pro Casual.Elite.............$2,025,000 1 time, $379,687.50 per game - $8.1M total
Day 261+ - Regional Pro.Casual...........................$2,700,000 1 time, $506,250 per game - $10.8M total

The Nidderau Stars http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=4243 went 20-0 in AA last season and they where places in a normal casual regional pro league. Only using this team as an example cause it is the easiest for me to check.

Than take a look what teams are in casual elite regional pro league:

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=19&team_id=3105 - same league like the Stars last season 9-7 and lost 3-122 to them

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=19&team_id=8114 last season A league 13-3 btw the team they lost in playoffs and won the conference and was 19-1 overall only got in a normal league, the league champions went into competive

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=1238 got promoted from cap 34 into elite pro with a roster full of level 35 dots

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=19&team_id=2910 Was 0-16 in cap 42 and got promoted to the casual regional pro elite

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=19&team_id=1551 was in the same conference as the Nidderau Stars, went 8-8 and missed the playoffs and lost to the Stars 0-118 and was placed in elite

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?season=19&team_id=4160 lost 0-147 to the Stars in the 2nd playoff round

and so on.

The Stars had 43 players that won the AA championship on their roster on day 42 when the leagues where sorted.

Could do this for many more leagues, regardless of casual or not.

So my suggestion is that every team should get the same money like the other teams at their age level, regardless of elite, competive or normal till the point where the best teams at one age level play in elite.

Regional Pro and Regional Pro Casual aren't even part of the same league structure. Why are you comparing apples to oranges?

He copied that little tidbit from another post in the forum. The comparison should be between Elite/Competitive and normal leagues. They do match up between casual and regular leagues.

To quote the admin in the thread:

It should be dependent on whether it is an elite, competitive, or normal league. The elite and competitive teams earn more media revenue in the Regional Pro Leagues. You should see that they match up for both casual and regular leagues.

I don't think a 16-0 team will or should get the same media revenue as an 0-16 team. The better you do, the more your team will be on TV,

Works well in the NFL
