Have an option where you can see the roster of a certain season. Why not? It would be perfect to remember who was on the team last season or even two seasons ago. Also, have a transaction list. Cuts, signings, trades, etc...

Maybe add history of league stats as well...

And make it where in the game log it shows what the team's name was at that season, not what it has been changed to now.

I could see this being handy

essentually a past season roster page, with notes designating player moments if needed (IE: * Was traded day 15 to ____) or (*Did play for the team next season) etc etc

As an addition, I'm sure the old folks here remember newspapers. They have a transaction log that lists cuts, signings, trades, etc..
