This is coming from the perspective of someone who is fairly neutral on the issues arising lately...Bort's had a pretty flippant attitude toward the userbase for quite some time.
I feel that he could add some measure of credibility back to this game by simply logging on and letting us know he's still alive. As it stands right now, I need to purchase about $100 worth a flex but cannot justify doing so without being given at least a slight bit of assurance from this game's developer.
Honestly, if he logs on in the next 24 hours I will most likely make a flex purchase. If not, it's a safe bet I will just apply that money to a box of cigars instead of spending here. Not a threat, just making it known the uneasy feeling I have at this moment.

Agreed. At this point, the actions of the games developers and administrators make me question whether GLB will be here in the long term. The sim keeps getting worse and the person responsible for creating that sim won't even log on to let us know that he's still around and working to improve it. Putting money into the game at this point is just too risky since I worry that the game won't even be around at this time next year.
