Well yeah, that is the only reason any of us participate.
We do Adopt-a-Family at work and one year I refused to participate because I questioned the selection of that particular family. The dirty looks could melt steel.

The office selects a needy family, and the family puts together a wish list of items they need/want. Everyone then contributes to give them a good Christmas, by getting items on the list or giving cash or gift cards.

ATTN everyone: If you order a Baconator, you're supposed to tell them how much bacon you want. Most people dont know this and get the default 4 pieces. I just ordered a 10 piece to confirm. Bacalicious.
I you rams. Will try this next time I get one.

Going to get some McDonalds for breakfast. Too cold in my house to cook. Deluxe breakfast sounds good right about now.

O hai there, $25 gift card to Pottery Barn. You will certainly come in handy when I need to buy fake apples to fill a vase with or half a throw pillow.
re-gift it back to them.
they'll appreciate it more than you.

I've literally never spent a dime at Starbucks and don't even drink coffee.
Sigh
There's a guy in the local paper near me, that will buy people gift cards from them, maybe there is a guy like that near you.
