jumping could be considered leg strength for all we know. and underrated doesn't mean most important.

I am testing jumping with a receiver I created last season. His jumping is around the soft cap and his jump catch SA is 5. Level 11 right now, not that good. Catching is 30, btw.

Jumping helps quite a few positions in various things. It won't help you block somebody or something like that doesn't make any sense, but it helps with catching, swatting balls, diving tackles, avoiding those low leg tackles, diving for yards, punting, etc.

Besides 40 times, the verticle leap has always been a focal point of the combine.

I think flames wanted Bort to be quiet because he didn't want people knowing jumping was an underrated skill.

LOL, you'd say any of the 10 primary stats for most players would be underrated I dare say. Although not disagreeing, but just saying, we can't train'em all
