SLAP was a meme used by the CPL as an insult, I don't know why people here use it. I guess it's like black people calling each other the n word. Anyways, ROIT was just an error that we all rolled with because it was kind of funny and unique to SA.

I think we embraced the SLAP thing to take the wind from their sails. It isn't as much fun to insult someone with something that they are calling themselves anyways...

Seriously though I didn't remember the RIOT/ROIT part as I never saw that thread (got deleted or locked real quick if I remember correctly?).
