For future probowl selections, I suggest you allow popular vote for nomination and 2 GM votes for selection.
This will eliminate active team agents dominating the voting process.

The entire Discussion thread was open for the 'popular vote', anyone and everyone was able to vote players onto the wall...all it takes is three votes to get on the ballot, and your 'nomination' is counted as 1...I do believe that's fair. Nobody wanted to join the committee to voice their opinion, so I was forced to work almost a complete 24hrs (no sleep) in filling the gaps after the rest of the committee had voiced their votes. I kept extending the discussion thread, leaving the window open for more and more people to join...but nobody wanted in. How much more public could I get on a 'popular vote'? Only taking the top selected players? That's basically the case...as there were VERY FEW arguments vs. the 'Base Ballot'. Everyone seemed to agree....

WOW! That's all I'm gonna say....Only 2 Oops's on the East, but nothing that sent things for a ride...Now the WEST on the other hand...WOW! Got a few IP Dup's, and a bunch of incomplete ballots...wow...If you could only see the logs...How do you submit a ballot looking like this;
- NO VOTES for ANY of the Positions, except voting for two WR's; Gorm & Blitz [Moose Jaw Grizzlies]
WOW...HAHA! Bunch of craziness going on in these logs...

[edit]
WOW! Ran across an ENTIRE ballot of all Grizzlie votes, skipping everything else...same w/ the Mounties...such a shame...I REALLY hope this doesn't hurt the results for those who deserve it...smh

Well it looks like the Gamecocks have come out in full force in the voting over an 8 hour period of time. Multi-voter or was it posted in the team forum at that time and got multiple support? I guess we will find out.

Also max votes for any cat. is currently 31 and min is 28. So we know 3 peoples votes won't count.

I posted it in the team forum. Wasn't that the idea?

I've yet to run the the IP Log yet...but have noticed the high number of support for the Gamecocks. I just hope it's due to the high # of support in their team forum. They deserve something. All season they got looked at as the middle man in the top tier teams, esp. by me...and I personally feel they came out this season's Playoffs and shut some people up. Even I had to back pedal a little bit...they went further than I had anticipated.

We liked being the underdogs.

Keep quiet and keep winning.......respect will come.

Alberta was just too much for us.

You misunderstand me....

I think what you did was fine with the wall and such. What I was suggesting is limit the voters on the actual ballot (website) to 2 GMs per team.

Thanks for doing all this hard work.

Oh ok, haha...Yeah I definitely misunderstood, haha...All Leagues work differently...The success of the voting fluctuates in every league I do it in. Really all depends on the crowd...

Due to the excess numbers of 'improper' ballots, I've been forced to do a manual count. And I'm counting for the last time right now. This will be my 6th count.
