I would like to pimp some of my own players who I think are deserving of being an All Star.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=50810 led the conference in rushing, avg for a RB, and has pretty good TD numbers.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=39804 31 rushing TD's and very good fumble per carry ratio.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=36125 3rd or 4th in most receiving categories with less opportunities than other players. 4 drops for a starting WR with 91 catches is fantastic.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=50984 tackles, hurries, sacks, forced fumbles, tackles for loss, this guy does it all.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=50593 great numbers for a blocking FB. He led the way for 2 of the leagues best rushers.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=61729 11 ints, 2nd most PD's. This guy is a great corner for us.

Naw I wouldn't say that. You have some good quality All-Stars on your side of the fence that would start for us. Lets combine next season into the Galapagos Fire or the Rosario Guardians. If we still lose the League Championship it's time to ask for a transfer

I'd like to point out the greatness of some of my players

(league rank / conference rank)

DE - Matt Gore led the League (not just conference) in sacks while still getting a lot of hurries and tackles (even though he was on the opposite side of most runs

Returner - Too Tall led the League in punt return average, was second in PR touchdowns and had one of the best KR average. I'm sure people will hold it against him that I tried let other players return kicks and punts to get everyone involved and he didn't get as many attempts as some of the others. I wonder how many TDs he would have scored if I would have let him return them all season.

QB - Adam Simms - 2nd best QB rating in the league (2nd/2nd). He had a 103 and Randall had a 106. Simms easily had the fewest attempts of any of the elite QBs. No one threw for more yards with as few passes as him. Still was 3rd/2nd in TD passes. Had the 2nd/1st best TD-INT ratio. Sean Jensen-O'Connell = 7.6, Simms = 6, Randall = 4. I can't argue against Ben Randall, but I think Simms should be considered in the same group. He's got similar numbers on a less pass heavy teams and with lower ranked guys around to help. And he plays AGAINST Santiago, not for them. LOL! I assume everyone will choose Randall which is fine, so this is mainly just to get him some recognition and maybe convince Havoc to vote for him since Havoc can't vote for Randall.

CB - Zaeya Mathis - (4th/2nd) Interceptions, (9th/4th) PDs, top 50 in tackles in Alpha

CB - Red Cloud - I can't give you any good numbers for Red Cloud at all. It seems as though he was the towel boy when looking at his stats. But that's pretty good for the CB that always covered the best receiver. He doesn't have any tackles because passes weren't completed to his man. I really don't think anyone ever scored against him. If they did, it was just once - ALL SEASON!!! He is our shutdown corner that I'll put against any top receiver. Apparently, his coverage was so good that QBs just didn't throw at him. I'll take that any day with CBs. He might be the most deserving of all my players.

I'm all for it. Then maybe I can figure out how you run the ball so well that you've got the top two rushers in our conference!

Aha! I knew you guys were all out to get me! But you'll never get into my secret bunker and I have enough supplies to outlast you all!

We're not too worried. Your supplies only consist of Jessica Alba posters, Butterfinger bars and Kool-Aid

Ok, as long as we are pimping our players, here are some of the top Santiago guys:

QB Ben Randall http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=28566

Obviously I am biased because he's my guy, but he led the league in yards, all of GLB Pro leagues in TD passes, had a great completion percent and the highest starting QB rating of any Pro QB I have seen.

WR/KR Norm DeSpain http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=66992

Led the conference in yards and TDs playing as a 3rd receiver. One of the top deep threats in the league. Also a deadly return man as a PR with 3 TDs.

TE Jurgen Klinsmann http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=28845

65 catches for 838 yards and 11 TDs is outstanding production for a TE. Jurgen is also a great deep threat, with numerous 40+ yard TDs and prevents matchup problems for most teams.

CB Connor Bach http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=28784

A great all-around CD with 96 tackles (and only 1 missed), 6 INTs and an amazing 96 PD. None of the other top INT guys are close to his PD count.

CB/PR Davey Hasselhoff http://goallineblitz.com/game/full_player_stats.pl?player_id=28568

Davey doesnt quite have the stats of Connor, but I think that's because most teams just stop throwing to his side. He usually defends the opposing #1 receiver and those receivers are usually shut down. 64 tackles (1 miss), 4 INT, 22 PD, 1 Def Td.

Davey is also 2nd in the league in KR average (39.), 3rd in PR (20.0) and first in return TDs with 4.

I would also point out our starting HB Vlad Lenin and LDE Mean Joe Greene for consideration.

Why shouldn't I? You already spurned my advances of combining into the Santiago Fire. Saying it sounds like something you need cream for. Humph!

I thought my counter offer of the Rosiago Fire Benitos just sounded classier and more dignified.

I'll pimp myself.

WR Sticky Nick --- San Diego Wowzers
WR numbers
16 Games
17 TD's (tied with DeSpain for league lead)
100 Receptions
1,532 Yards (2nd by a tiny margin...still bitter about that one)
15.3 Y/Rec
765 YAC

Also a candidate at Kick Returns
34.6 yard KR average
2 KR TD's despite not returning kicks in several games

Got off to a slow start and caught absolute FIRE in weeks 10-15
Stats from that 6 game stretch:
49 receptions, 14 TD's, 920 yards IN 6 GAMES!!!

I would've had the league recieving yard title were it not for a tough matchup during the alpha-zeta week against the MV Titans. I had the lead going in.

I think my guy has really impressed, especially for NOT playing for a top tier team. To put up numbers to compete with guys who had lots of support is impressive IMO. Additionally, my guy went up against CB1 coverage every game, not CB3 coverage like the slot guys.

I don't usually toot my own horn, but here I will.
