My guy with 10 in Second wind plays the last down of the 3rd Q, and doesn't start the first play of the 4th Q. How is this possible?

Please with all the GLB minds please explain to me how this is possible. No one else has second wind on my team. I'd appreciate any insight anyone can add.

ENERGY SETTINGS

He was a starter. WR #2 Depth chart #1 WR.

Cecil was the starting #2 WR with settings of 80 leave and 86 return as far as energy.

Only 1 backup @ WR2 I believe at the time, and his stamina is 21 with no Second Wind.

It definitely goes off. I have tested it on my dev box where it prints some debug info when it fires, and there's a big output at the start of the 4th quarter. Perhaps the issue isn't that it doesn't go off, but that it doesn't give a big enough energy boost to be noticeable by the end of the game's energy review. Also, how much stamina do the players who are using it have? If they have like 20 or 30, it's not going to do as much good since they just tire out quickly after the boost anyway.

I've read that if the energy settings are at 99/1, then the players switch after every play.

Second Wind
Crunch time brings out the best in some players. Each level of Second Wind gives an extra +2 energy refill at the start of the fourth quarter.

Is he a starter? If he's not then chances are the regular starter got enough energy to come back in.

One of my players has quite the investment into second win, and if anything, he seems to play less than normal in the 4th Q.

Nevermind, I see you have already posted in the bugs forum. I'm interested in the answer because I was considering investing in second wind for one of my players.

Maybe he gets the +energy, but he is still out of breath so he can't use it until he gets in the game. When he catches his breath and goes back in the game he will play at a higher level thanks to the extra energy from 2nd wind.

I have wracked my brain, and cannot figure out how it is possible.

I am not asking for a reset, just an explanation. If it turns out to not be working, then let's get it fixed, and I'll be happy

Well, I guess VAs are a lottery. I took the safe route and got Football Genius .

Dooley sucks

I invested in it this season, took it to 5 on a guy. No changes. I think I saw a post on this the other day, too, and one of the mods said they'd have it tested.
