Well, PT's WR just had his first game since the change. Speed topped out at 35.79, as far as I can tell, which is a far cry from the "40-ish" in the OP.

Don't hold your breath. We are supposed to hear from him today after he got to look at a couple WRs.

I haven't seen one position other than WR impacted by this change which is extremely odd. Just as odd as having data errors during transfers for the exact same players every single game, some of which made them worse, some of which made them better. Just fucking weird.

This is also exposing how some teams and/or certain levels are being held back by a hidden factor.

Bort needs to be talking right now. He needs to be clear on this stuff. He needs to not beat around the bush and answer questions with questions. Hopefully it will happen but likely it wont.

Even though in the past - they got under my skin -

Enough with the vague double talk - let's have some clear; well communicated answers....

Just like we saw whenever that bug was in place so supposedly SOME people had a crap load of extra skill points through exploiting - at that time - Bort gave details....he ran reports....he gave us the info gathered from those reports...he spent time massaging the community.....

Do that again Bort -

is there anyway to know who's players were bugged (per height/weight)?
is there anyway to come up with a number or a % of the player base that was affected (define the problem)?

Pretty scary that a bug of this magnitude (if that's what it is) survived 11 seasons without being discovered....pretty scary that this topic has been discussed ad nauseum for months and we've been laughed at by mods/admins; just makes me wonder - what other massive bugs are in the programming? I would bet some of the SA's are for starters.

It boggles my mind how spending thousands of dollars on something still doesn't afford you a straight answer. The reason you won't get one is because Bort coded x-factor and now that it's gone horribly wrong he is trying to "uncode" it or should I say *cough* fix it. You see this is a mmorpg first of all and the goal of an mmorpg is to have the player on a treadmill with a carrot on stick just out of reach. Always having something to strive for and that carrot on a stick in this case is rolling a player with x-factor. What Bort failed to realise until now is that that's not the proper way to run a business. Why should one person get more entertainment value for his dollar than another person?

I also want to voice my displeasure with the mod that moved this thread here. Similar to how a ref should NEVER be the deciding factor in a fight, the best mods are the ones that encourage the flow of discussion and only step in when things get derailed. There was great progress done in this thead and it was moved here knowing full well that no one reads this god damn forum.

A lot of the mods here do a very poor job of moderating threads that they disagree with or don't like.

...and it's damn hard to track him down, for he plays special teams (tires fast) and barely ever runs deep routes.
