when will the offensive and defensive AI system start up and count during the season.. makes it alot more complicated for oc and dc

will we ever get to choose a specific player to go to in a situation....and not just a position ???

I'm asking here since the announcement thread is kinda huge and you don't find anything there.
Does anyone know how rush (random) works? Does it pick among inside/outside/etc. in accordance to your basic settings, or is it really random with equal chance for each choice?
Same with play type, play distance. I guess when I set them to 'basic' the basic tactics take effect?
