Don't have the flex for a full team myself but I'd like an invite to the forum and I'd build a partial roster for someone if interested.

Here's an interesting thought if everyone wants something new to stir things up.

Injuries:
Each week 4 dots are selected to be injured. Random dot, random team.
The team must release that dot before the next game
Injured dots are gone for the rest of the season.
Injured dots can not be replaced.

This will work out on average to 2 dots per team lost. You could lose 2 QBs and a RB or you could lose a STOP...
Of course everyone would have to sign off on it beforehand.

Maybe LE you can have it where these extra guys can be assigned to a team via some type of lottery pick or something and from there that team can chose if they want them or if they want to just create their own dots and let the next team in line have them. This way you make sure that none of these guys get on a team with an agent they coach with. The only problem is if they add the person on as a GM there is no stopping them so what will be the penalty for this?

Also another idea is that these "extra" guys must chose 3 teams to sign dots with so that they are a part of 3 separate teams instead of just one. Like a rule where if you are not the owner of the team you can only sign 5 guys at most to one team.

How about a draft? I still have my draft software. Add more fun to it.

I don't want a team, just a few players. I like the idea, sounds fun.

I'm in with the Pittsburgh Steelerz.

Not sure about the draft, i like creating all my players. I like the extra guys thing though.
Great idea by the way! Could you also add a trophy?

I wouldn't be able to supply the flex and own a team but this seems like a cool idea. I would definitely love to have players involved with this.
