New teams bought today started with $500,000. Is that money thier season ticket money, or is it just seed money to get the team going?

Probably within a week...not sure though. It's a player's market right now, but it should level off, hopefully.

Can you recommend a good person to serve as a consultant/gm to the new team I purchased? I want to do this the correct way and could use a seasoned professional.

-----b. Newly added - On your stadium site, there are now expected prices for the seats listed. You will also have access to "fan support" (divided by income level). This should help determine where to set your prices. You'll still have to toy with the prices to maximize profits.

The "Fan Support" shows 30 on Low Income and 10 on Medium Income (0 on High Income). What does the 30 and 10 indicate? Is it percentage of fans interested in buying at the current price?

Also, what is the "Expected price" for seats and concession items? Does this price change during the season? If the set price is higher/lower, will the actual sales (volume) be lower/higher than expected?

Just trying to get a feel for whether I should try to drive volume up by dropping prices...

Thanks.

The fan support bars give you an idea about how high you can drive up the cost. The expected price is derived from those bars I believe. The numbers will shift if you win or lose. Yeah, if you set the prices higher/lower the sales will change a bit. But this can be off-set by the season ticket price discount.

If I lower the price, should that not increase sales? In theory, it makes it more affordable for people to attend.
