No...I have PMs going back to March. "Delete" is not really a DELETE statement, it just sets the "delete" flag so you can't see it any more.

And I would bet everything I owned on it being a random bug that just hit that lone PM and left every other PM in GLB alone over Satchmo making this up. That's why I asked if anyone could delete the PMs. No offense to your staff, but I would make that same bet that one of them erased the message to hide it from you over him making it up as well.

Maybe, but I only see one PM from support in there that didn't relate that sentiment at all. Messages to/from mods, on the other hand, are not quite so cheery...but nothing saying "see ya later."

I just want to know if it was DD, or Thorn, or Rick, or a mod, or if there's general misunderstanding going on?

This could have been Skanker or Scientist or that ImTheCrew or Joe Flacco idiot and I would have still suspected foul play rather then deceit of the user. That's how much trust has been shaken in the moderators in the last two days.

One thing that i do know is that Satch wouldnt make this up.

Nobody has access to delete somebody's PM's except me and the script that deletes old automated messages (like trade offers, etc). There's no interface to do it - it would require direct database access.

I'm not going to discuss that sort of thing here, same way I don't discuss why people get perma-banned. If Tim is no longer a mod, you'll know about it.

Just want to clear this up: I lifted the ban, and I don't see anything in the message log from an admin stating "Don't let the door hit you on the way out." Was this in a forum post or in a PM, because it's not in the PM history.

It was in the first and only response I got from Support prior to yours. It arrived just before the last PM from the mod that banned me.

From who? I don't see it in the PM list? Only PM I see that's related to a support message is from Rick about forwarding your request to me.

I don't know from whom it came. I don't believe I deleted it, but I don't see it anymore. I saved each of the PMs from the mod (4) and this PM came in that stretch. Then I have 2 earlier PMs, one from Thorn about the setup to move my team when the need arose and one from Serenity about builds. And of course yours.

I know it was there because the last PM received from the mod chimed in as it was being read. I had to be looking at my inbox.

Was it an admin or a mod?

WRONG. You usually can't figure it out. You obviosly have no idea the scope of how many people Satchmo has helped. I trust him more than that clown Monkeyman and he's my brother

Nope, none of them. Also, the "don't let the door hit you" wording was Satch's representation, not the actual phrase used IIRC. I have written an impassioned plea to the mod in question, but haven't heard back yet.

I know I speak for everyone in commending you for addressing this in such an honest and straightforward manner. I never get involved in these types of conflicts, but Satchmo is perhaps the only person in this game who I would stand up for so vehemently.
