Item 1: I'm going to make it auto-PM offers to them from D league teams when they create their first player instead of just waiting for them to click contract offers.
Item 2: It's been suggested before, and I want to do it: PM a "getting started" guide to them. Needs to be concise enough to not scare them away, but explain enough of the basics to help them get started.
Anybody want to help out with #2? There could possibly be some FP's in it for you.
I could also use some suggestions for what confused you the most when you got started and how to help remedy that.
Well if it hasn't been added or updated, I suppose the FAQ team can add it to our never ending list of things to do. I'm sure the crew that worked on this months ago would pitch in as well.
I believe the old group was Adderfist, Buckeyes33, ksyankeejetfan, nightstar289, Nixx, yabo, Xenetha, and weather999.
Anyways maybe Bort will touch on this later, I believe EllisBell said there was a staff powwow today, I suppose I'll shoot him a PM to see if they haven't met yet and this can be brought up.
If we get something created, I'll make players over and over again until I get it posted in the majority of the d-league forums, best we could do without Bortimus.

heh don't worry, Bort and crew are all for us helping out with the little things. I already PM'd EllisBell, we'll see where it goes from there. A simple FAQ team/GLB Guides effort could tackle it.
I would be happy to edit. I am an English professor and understand the value of clarity and brevity in a guide like this. I don't think I have the time to be the primary writer though.
