I have a habit of trying to find logic where there seems to be none...if you were Buxx that would make sense and the world would be right. If you are really spending an hour defending your long time friend from wrongful internet message board persecution while he sobs in the corner, then that is truly bizarre.

And it's really ridiculous that you're even taking these stances in this thread defending your friend. While that's an honorable thing to do in real life:

1) If you've EVER been in any sort of internet community, MMORPG or just regular talk thread, you need to realize that people flame ALL THE TIME. It's just one of those things and if people can't deal with it, they should get the fuck out.

2) Your friend may not have cheated, but he did not play in the spirit of the game. Lots of people said the Patriots didn't "cheat" last season when they spied on the defensive play callings of the other team, but that sure as hell wasn't in the spirit of the game.

The long and the short of it is: if you cheat, you get banned by the admins. If you don't play in the spirit of the game, you get flamed on the boards. Deal with it.

Actually arguing for those outnumbered is quite amusing to me. I have been involved in several gaming communities, and just like in all of them, if you "flame" (as you say, sounds kind of gay but I'll go with it) someone, their friends will have fun with you as well.

You are comparing this game to a real NFL team? Give me a break, they get paid MILLIONS to play lol. You guys don't...this is just for fun. Plus every NFL Team spies on the other, they hire people to read lips, and do whatever. Patriots were just stupid enough to get caught haha.

The injustice is to the Badgers. Now there's a lingering doubt if they could have legitimately beat the Rams. Some may even think they only advanced because of collusion. It takes a lot away from winning a conference championship. That's the injustice.

I don't see how sitting another year will help you at all. The players in AA won't stop gaining in level. You'll be in the exact position next year as well. On top of that the other teams in this league will get even stronger. Maybe you'll never get the opportunity again.

Also, WTF? Most people that get involved in arguements or flame wars don't let/have their friends get involved. Generally it isn't that big of a deal, and/or they can just deal with it themselves.
