No, when you play football in real life, you take on and juke players individually, one-by-one. Check any youtube videos and you'll see it. The HB jukes guys one-by-one. In other words, he dismantles them tick-by-tick. Which is still all too possible for elite backs in GLB.

read my god damn post, 3 yards apart, maybe it can happen once every 100 carries but 2-3 times a play is ridiculous, if you have two people 3 yards apart you should not be able to juke them both on a consistent basis, I'm not saying it can't happen I'm saying it shouldn't happen every play

Some people will just agree with Bort no matter what.

This was just another lazy overreaction, in a long line of lazy overreactions.

Defenses had to get adjusted to power backs, so they stopped focusing on Speed/Agility/Vision, so it was pretty obvious that Elusive Backs would make a return.

But regardless, people overreact, and Bort goes right along with them, changing the way Elusive Backs have worked for the past 10 seasons.

Seriously, in one whim, Bort decides that he's going to alter how Elusive Backs have played for the past 10 seasons. They were never overpowered before, in fact most of them are pretty average, yet he nerfs all of them without even taking much time to think it over.

I don't own a pansy ass HB so I can't FEEL your pain, but I grew up watching Barry and many other elusive backs work their magic and dickntater or whatever your gay name is THEY JUKED OUT ANYBODY ON THE FIELD ALL DAY LONG. You could spend an entire weekend just on Sanders film and thats just one man. Before bragging on your players you might want to get some worth bragging on.

I'm part of two passing teams who had to endure season 8 without a power back and I didn't bitch

But the fact remains Barry was the exception. He was 1 out of many HB's that have ever played the game. I own a HB I do not know weather he will be good or bad yet but someday I hope to find out.

Does it suck that he made this change after the season started YES I think its the owners of teams and OC's that build teams with the plan of a certain set of rules in place and then to have them changed mid season.

Personally I agree with griffin on 1 point and that’s lets just calm down and wait a few days see how this actually plays out in SIM before we go and hang bort by the ball hairs. Who knows maybe he didn't over adjust for once. I understand he has a history of doing so and it is easy to assume that he did it again but sometimes with enough experience a coder can actually know how much a change of a variable will actually adjust something.

No idea what pain of mine you're not "FEELing", but I grew up watching Barry juke people out of their jocks too - the difference is, I watched all those plays where he retreated 20 yards to try and beat one guy, only to wind up losing 5 yards on the play because he couldn't beat everyone else.

Now, if you'd like to install a system where a super-elusive back with heavy juke-ray also tries to retreat every time he gets cornered, with the possibility he gets tackled for a big loss even though he would have gained yardage had he kept going, and his juke-rays only actually work if he changes direction (because Barry's juke-rays only ever worked when he changed direction) not like the current model where a juke-back can continue moving full speed one way and have everyone fall down around him at once because he twitched his eyebrows, then yeah, you can have the more-than-one-defender-per-juke back.

This has confirmed it, you aren't very bright. And it's not your pain I'm not feeling quite the contrary, you are a pain in the ass and I do feel that. It's the pansies who actually built HB's, I can't feel their pain because I would never build something so useless. Dude think then google then post. Barry was an incredible scatback, this is GLB and we have 1000's of teams not 32, stats should be inflated, more players should be able to build those statsnatchers. Just like DE's being useless yours even more than most. Barry running backwards how funny you sound. You dude haven't watched any football, in fact my guess is you are the biggest nerd in your town.

I dont think the 1 juke per fake was what was needed.

Faking defenders from behind, at behind-angles, and a slight speed decrease w/ each fake is a reasonable change (but it looks like this is still possibly going to happen). But in real life, in all levels of football, more then one defender can be faked out by a juke at a given time. To say otherwise is just ridiculous.
