Faking defenders from behind, at behind-angles, and a slight speed decrease w/ each fake is a reasonable change (but it looks like this is still possibly going to happen). But in real life, in all levels of football, more then one defender can be faked out by a juke at a given time. To say otherwise is just ridiculous.

this, tbh...

It doesnt happen every play....

Were it about MAXIMIZING money, he would have already:

1) Hired a junior programmer to implement 50 easy yet helpful ideas from "EPIC";
2) Hired a senior programmer to get serious about making this a REALISTIC football sim;
3) Implemented expectations/guidelines for staff regarding interacting with customers that required professionalism and a mindset that wondered "How would a new POTENTIALLY PAYING customer feel reading this comment from a staff member?" before posting a comment.

I don't have to wait to see it, unlike you.

Good. Then cry all night, because I'm done talking to you, asshat.

Wahhhh yourself to sleep, and in the morning, when you wake up, you'll find this didn't kill you nearly as bad as you thought it would, and then you can come fucking apologize to the forum for wasting our collective time with your pissing and moaning.

Damn that feeling feels all too familiar lmao Until you realize, sometimes Bukowski knows what he is talking about lol

Thats not true, those people cost money. Why hire anyone when you can do it yourself "over time" or put it "on the radar".

Because this game is destined to get left in the dust by some mega-company that provides an actual football sim with professional staff rather than dotball-101. "Minimizing cost" doesn't equal "Maximizing profit".

Your OT is still garbage, just like everyone else you own.

Wah, wah, wah, my elusive back is going to suck now, even though I haven't seen a game with the new settings.

You're worse than the people who complain that something should be fixed, because you throw a fit before you even know what happened.

You are adding nothing to the conversation other than proving beyond a doubt that you are an ass.

Bukowski,

Bort has been in reaction mod since season 3. I have honestly come to the conclusion that he doesn't have an overall design path for the game, and is simply trying to patch the hell out of is so people stop bitching. The problems are that when he keeps doing that he ends up with an additional layer of pure crap that just moves the game away from the attribute model it started with.

I liked the idea of balancing the VAs much more than I like this idea he has come up with. Hell if he would take some of the restrictions off my linebackers and DEs (which he still seems to be playing with no matter that there are no posts in the changelog), then people wouldn't need to be as upset about elusive backs.

hey dumb shits think about this in reaility, you have two people in front of you 3 yards apart from each other and you juke, you can't juke two people in different spots at the same time, the same thing goes for head fake you can't head fake two people at the same time because it requires you to be looking at both of them

Definitely never played football in his life.

No, when you play football in real life, you take on and juke players individually, one-by-one. Check any youtube videos and you'll see it. The HB jukes guys one-by-one. In other words, he dismantles them tick-by-tick. Which is still all too possible for elite backs in GLB.

Apparently, you haven't watched many Gayle Sayers or Barry Sanders vids. Both guys juked entire defenses at times.

Also, take a look at some of Eric Metcalf's work in the late 80's...

That's not what I'm saying. He jukes guys one-by-one. He never juked the LOLB, MLB, DE and FS all in one tick.

This is total Bullshit. B. Sanders, W. Payton, M. Faulk, E. Smith, and so many many more great RB's had moves to throw Pro Bowl caliber defensive guys, 3+ at a time, They would get them to step the wrong direction, or get them to take a bad line. Stupid that you think you can't fake out a whole side with the right skills. I have seen the whole D line, Lb's get fooled. If you have never seen this. You have missed some sick football over the years. Another Great example is Earl Campbell. Don't know how you would classify him, becasue he had some of the sickest elusive moves coming through the line, then would plow over a LB, then juke the secondary at once. He was absolutly increadable to watch. To think only one guy gets fooled per move, is dead wrong. Sounds like you are just saying whatever you feel would justify this nerf.

I know you are 100% wrong.

+ 1 billion!

The idea that only one person can be faked out at a time is silly.

Payton, Sanders, Smith and many others did often juke out whole defense. The difference is that in their games, they took on most guys 1-on-1 and beat them individually, each for one tick, if you may. When they did juke out more than one guy at once, it was because of the angle that the tackler took to get to them. They wouldn't run into a crowd of 4 guys, do one move and have all 4 of the defenders fall down on the ground. Now granted, you may want HBs in GLB to be slithery, snake-like ball-carriers, capable of weaving through 5 guys in the space of 1 second, but doing that over and over and over again just isn't realistic, no matter how many times you argue that it happened all the time in the NFL.

A tick is a tenth of a second in the sim. If you think you need to be able to fake out more than 10 guys per second, then hmm...I guess football rules must have changed to allow 20 per side or something. Doing only 1 fake per tick ensures there isn't a whole field of spasming players over and over as they all get faked infinite times every tick.

These are things that need to be clarified before you make any kind of adjustment to avoid having said issues in the future..... Nothing gamebreaking is going to come from us knowing that a tick is 1/10th of a second.

Or, just don't over react until you actually see it in action?
