I would hope long enough to fit in the majority of the info needed. But it's not like most new players will read it, only the ones that want to. How many people actually read the ToS before they sign up anywhere?

I just had another idea that I know I have absolutely no time for - a video or flash tutorial. Hrm...maybe down the road...

Once we have a broad idea of what the message should contain, I'd be happy to edit it so that its as clear and concise as possible. Fewer words=more likely to be read and understood.

well you could also break this down into certain sections. listing certain links for certain player types, a contract section, basic info section linking to rules for forums and such.

I'm in for sure...

Edit: I could actually make a video for this if you wanted Bort.

Great idea... too bad I don't have the talent or time to do that, but I could do the voiceover lmao

Maybe a "Newbie Guide Auto-PM Private forum" to help get all the ideas together
