I was thinking about making a private forum where we could all get together and talk about this. Would you guys be in?

I'm in.

The audience is the new user. They want to create a player and get on a team as painlessly as possible. We want them to stay on board long enough to get hooked. So the letter should:

1. Give a brief high-level overview of what GLB "is" - i.e, football simulator, games take place every 2 days, build players as they level up, etc.
2. Explain what they do here: create players by assigning points to different skill areas.
3. Get them on a D League team.

Each section should have links to relevant sections in each guide for more detailed information, so the sections don't have to be massive. Ideally you'd want to keep it to a viewable page, so that it doesn't look too daunting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Basically a lot of very useful information is already in the guides, but apparently it's hard to find.

So there could be a very brief synopsis of something, then a link to the guide that has a more detailed explanation. Sounds like what I already do a lot of in the FAQ forum, heh.

Maybe this should be a re-write of the FAQ? http://goallineblitz.com/faq.html Doesn't seem like it's been updated recently, and it could have links to some other guides (along with a link to the actual guides page http://goallineblitz.com/guides.html ).

Just spent 100 flex making it

If help is still needed, I'd be willing to write a section for it.

As for what should be put in:

.A rundown of what the stats do
.How the D-leagues work and feed into player owned teams, that was semi-confusing for me when I signed up
.Quick explanation of soft-caps (very important imo)

Just a few I thought of of the top of my head, should be pretty brief because of the short attention span of the average gamer
