I know Bort has a priority list and, sometimes, the thing that's closest to being done takes priority over what may be a more pressing, but also more complex, issue, that deserves more than merely a band-aid solution.

What would be a second is that I do think this shouldn't have been a top priority.
I think the main problem is that there are a group of people that don't agree with Bort's list of priorities.
So it's essentially a matter of opinion...in that case, let's guive Bort the benefit of the doubt, huh?
I try to and most often do. As a friend said earlier, it's Bort's bat and ball and he can do what he wants with them. On the flip side, as much as I'd hate it sometimes, I'd want/need to know what the serious users thought, if I were in his place. In the earliest portions of this game, I think that feed back was huge in the success it has become. Unfortunately, the feedback does seem to be becoming less and less valued (I think the gutting thread reached over 500 pages and nothing of substance was done, and now there's a new gutting thread) but, in fairness, the forums have also turned into a zoo and there is constructive and purely negative feedback coming from all sides these days...Shame. All in all, I do think Bort has done a great job. Some things are just tough to deal with, is all.
