I'm thinking it's still broken at high levels.....

You're in USAPro, you shouldnt get 10 sacks per game.

Yes, because that's what I was implying I should be getting.

I didnt say thats what you said, did I?

You certainly implied it.

Can't we just focus on hating the Red Wings?

If 74 is your benchmark for a "high" stat at the pro level, then I think I found your problem.

What about 90+ speed, 105+ agility, 10 FS, 9 Shed and 11 TV? What more do I need? 100+ speed? Don't worry I'm working on that on my other DE.

Naturally, when there's 3 of them? Yeah, I'd say you'd be hard pressed to find many builds with 3 stats over 74 and 3 SA's maxed out.

90 strength and 100 agility led to 1 hurry.

So 90 Strength, 100 Agility, and since you said all 3 are over 74, you probably have 74-75 Speed (or you would have said a higher number for the "higher than" part). A guy with numbers like that will probably be great at stopping an outside run, but suck at getting sacks, since he's too slow. He might even break off some blockers, but not have the speed to then get to the QB.

Welcome to season 10, the season where OTs and DEs need to start making decisions on how to build.

To be clear:

DE's with 100 speed/100 agility... do nothing, because their strength is too low.

DE's with 100 strength/100 agility... do nothing, because their speed is too low.

DE's with 100 strength/100 speed... do nothing, because their agility is too low.

... correct? Cool.

Nah, you just are facing good OTs. I mean, yea you should get some sacks for sure...but when you face really well built OTs you can't expect to dominate. But I do agree you should get some more sacks then DEs do and the blocking angles still need a lot of tweaking done.

Actually, an 100 strength/100 speed DE could do pretty well because he'd still have agility around 65-70.

I think DEs will be fixed when OTs have to decide whether or not to go run block, balanced or pass blocking. We are a long way from that.

So what you're saying is their no way to build a GREAT DE but it's pretty damn easy to build a great OT that shutdowns DEs.

Meh, disagree, OTs have to do that now especially since most DEs are getting strength up.
