Thanks for the feedback.

I was in agreement with the OP until you popped in to say you're working through the issues.

I'm a DC but I prefer to dominate through strategy than exploits.

What needs to be addressed is how the O-Line AI behaves.

The logic tree on how the O-Line makes its decisions appears to be based on seasons prior to the fullscale introduction of the DPC. The O-Line worked decently enough when the defense was lined up in an expected position every play. It also wasn;t too bad when bort added the ability to line shift to the Defense. But once the abilityt o shift further was given, and the O-Line logic not fixed... a problem arose.

Just fix the blocking decision tree of the O-line and everything is fine.

This needs to be fixed quick. Either fix the code to make blockers "smarter", or give the offense a way to pick what type of blocking scheme they want to use.

I love the mentality of this game.

Instead of fixing the broken O-line interactions, we start yelling for the removal of features from the defense.

How about instead of always bringing everything down to the level of the most broken feature, we start building the broken things up?

completely agree and understand would it not be a good temp fix to remove defensive line click and drag until you have things fixed sim side?

I'm just saying, I've had plays called in peewee where I had the right defense, and 3 of my players end up on the ground. You can't say it is a build problem, cause no one is that far apart in peewee. How many time does a DE or DT actually make it through the gap? If it is 10% of the plays offensive plays in the game, I would be shocked. What percentage of plays is at least one defender pancaked?

Good explanation. I am sure the OP will now go create another thread about it since the MO seems to be when refuted, stop posting in that thread and make another thread.

you are a quality representative of GLB and thanks for your contributions to a paying customer's concern.

not saying permanent I am asking would it not be better to remove the ability to click and drag the defensive line until this exploit is fixed...through code fixes and testing

Another possibility might be increasing the offensive line's acceptable blocking angle, or at least having them rotate and re-position in pass blocking the way that they do when run blocking.

Or the OL could take different paths on how they back up reliant to the angle the DL is in front of them so if a DE is lined up over a LG he'll move to the left while backing up...of course that will leave a hole for a blitz to get through but that would be like what happens IRL.

the over/under on close GLB games is 80 points... between top teams it's over 100

yeah lets nerf the defense

could the DE switch places with the LG and fill that hole, or help with the DT?
