I couldn't really care less about 'Volt', but I do get bored of mods who seem to think it's OK to jump into a thread and make ridiculous accusations just because 'they can'. Show me an instance of where I've gone out of my way to join a thread where 'Volt' has posted so I can have a dig at him??

He isn't calling you on swearing, he is calling you on insulting. Speculation is the whole basis of this game when we're thinking about visionaries (flames54, a big one) and they experiment on their speculation.

Sorry if swearing isn't appropriate. I have never before this seen any stink raised over people swearing in their posts. I suspect I'm being singled out. Whatever, that's fine, I don't need to swear. I made this post in a private forum and I think it continues to sum up my feelings about these new changes. Keep in mind to this point I have NEVER complained about the changes being made, I accepted them and did my best with them, but I've had enough.

I do not like this. ONE thing almost all of us had a handle on was the training - how best to work it, what to do. Now it is completely overhauled and oh well, we just need to adjust with our high level players that are impossible to adjust anyhow. If GLB needs a slogan, I'd be more than happy to supply one.

Sorry to vent, just be glad I didn't feel the need to start my own thread about it. This is very disappointing.

Wait...so now you can be punished for making negative comments about the game? You mnight as well perma-ban Chaos now because saying the graphics aren't great and the servers are slow is more than likely the least "insulting" thing he's going to say this week..

As to the topic: I have a feeling that this "preview" that everyone wants will happen during the pre-season. If not, then go ahead and get upset, people. But 4 days or so to play with the training should be more than enough.

As to the RPG aspects, IMO the equipment better be frickin AMAZING to make me give up 4-5 SPs.

Is he?? He accuses two people of two different things, yet is not specific in either case. And in what way am I insulting anyone?? Telling Bort that he needs to fix the game because otherwise he'll lose money?? Surely that's an opinion - to which I'm entitled??

1VBChaos & superpunk, pls, trust me when I say that I completely understand your frustrations. After all, we're up to 8 pages of resonable discussion and not a single answer. Personally, I don't blame the mods on this one (don't think either of you are). They are every bit as in the dark on this as we are. Bort is the only person that can answer these ?s and, even as I was writing the OP, I expected him to ignore them. However, I do think they deserve answers and don't want to give him an already built excuse for not answering because the thread has been locked (due to swearing, flaming, or God only knows what). If he chooses to duck the ?s, I don't want to give him a builtin excuse for doing so.

No worries, PP. I know when to bridle my tongue. I think Voltron thinks I'm cute anyways, so we've got nothing to worry about.

Quick question: let's say Bort's plan is to roll out the full training options on Day -4 and then give everyone 10 TP to play with.

Would that b a workable solution for you? Do you think the pre-season is long enough to get a decent handle on things?

Hey - my bad mate and I didn't want the thread derailed either - but you do get the impression that's EXACTLY the intention sometimes - any excuse for a lock so that the OP gets buried under piles of other useless threads.........

I'm with you all the way PP - all I want is the same as I've been asking for since I got here - a clue about how to play the game, to get rid of the loopholes that get continually exploited and for this 'game' to finally decide what it wants to be and STAY like that, so we can finally get on with playing it, rather than continually having to adapt to it's chamelion-esque changes...........
